Cannot recommend Fresh enough, top notch communication, maintenance, and overall service. Just a week after moving in, they had my toilet repaired, carpets replaced, garden cleared, new fridge freezer installed, the whole property was deep cleaned since I viewed it.. Just overall Fresh is the way to go for moving. 100% recommend them, fantastic overall!
Many of the 'good reviews' are actually staff replying to unhappy customers. From my experience they are rude and ignorant - AVOID!
I recently suddenly became homeless and although had plenty of friends where I could stay for a while needed to find somewhere to live very quickly due to work and other commitments. I approached the team at Threshold who were very helpful and empathetic. They listened to my needs and quickly came up with the perfect home for me. The service was quick and professional and i was settled in my new place within a matter of days which meant the world to me. I would 100% recommend this company to any of my friends and if needed would definately use them again in the future. I would just like to say a very big thank you to all the team.
THE WORST LETTING AGENCY I HAVE EVER ENCOUNTERED... I would never recommend threshold letting agency, in fact I would encourage you to steer clear! I had arranged to pick up the keys from the threshold store on the day we moved in at 12 noon, however when arriving me and my partner was told that we would not be able to pick up the keys until at least 4pm because the property had not been cleaned. When we eventually was able to get the keys to the property we was disgusted with the state of the flat. I'm not just on about a little bit of dust and grime here and there, there was dirty tissues on the floor, dirty toilet brushes and even dirty underwear in the airing cupboard! Despite ringing the letting agency and complaining about the state of the flat they told us there was nothing they could do until at least the morning, however as you can understand me and my partner had travelled a long way and had 2 car loads of furniture and goods that we could not just leave until the following day!!
We were disgusted at the lack of efficiency and professionalism threshold showed us when moving in, they were meant to sort out parking permits for us on arrival yet we had to do these ourselves independently. The electric's in the bathroom were broken, yet every time we got in contact with threshold to discuss fixing them we were told we would be charged an extortionate amount on call out fee's! despite the electrics not being the tenants responsibility. At this point me and my partner were just waiting for our contract to run out so we could get the hell out of there, they would only contact you if they needed to conduct an inspection of the property, they were never forthcoming though in helping if there was a problem our end!
When our contract finally ran out we gave in our notice and cleaned the property from top to bottom. However we were not fortunate enough to get all of our bond back. We moved in on the 24th of August, however we were not aware, nor told that our contract started on the 1st of September and so to our surprise we was lumbered with a 6 day bill for rent used at the start of our contract, I found this a little bit sly that they never told us this would be the case. We were also charged for dirt on the carpet, this dirt however was mould!! mould on the bathroom carpet which could not be helped as there was no window and a terrible air vent which was not enough to air the bathroom. They have been extremely awkward since we moved out, telling our electric supplier that we were responsible for electricity bills even after we had moved out and closed our accounts. Threshold had moved somebody else in to the property yet was telling EON are electricity supplier that we were responsible for the electric used...
My advice would be to absolutely stay away from using this letting agency, which is consistent with the majority of reviews on this page. However if you are in a predicament where you have to use them, make sure to take pictures of everything!! That is how we were able to get some of our bond back for cleaning as we had images which showed the state of the flat before we moved in and after we left. Make sure all the pictures show dates of when the image was taken, because it is likely you will need these for evidence when they try to refrain from giving you back your bond.

I would highly recommend John Francis in Sketty. The staff are friendly, dedicated and consistently proactive. I would particularly like to thank Louise and Alice for going above and beyond to help.
As a first time buyer it should have been the most exciting time of my life! On the first viewing of the property, we were doubled booked meaning we had to view it with another family, this also meant the viewing was rushed. The second view of the same property, again, was rushed. When I put in the first offer (knowingly I was being a bit cheeky) but thought I must try, Maha laughed at the offer which is very unprofessional! Later on in conversations, Maha was very patronising, sarcastic and tried making me out to be a liar! The 3 months during the process of buying John Francis's service really made me feel stressed and ill as they never understood my my needs. They would phone everday sometimes at least 2-3times a day where it was becoming harrasment! All they wanted was their commission. However, Louise was fantastic, she was the only one who listened to me and understood my point of view. Louisd and Alice are the only reason I am giving 1 star otherwise it would be 0! I will never buy a house being sold by John Francis again and my advice to sellers would be not to use John Francis because as a buyer, it would put me off buying the house if it was being sold by them!
Excellent service and very friendly staff. Very happy with how I was guided through the lettings process. Highly recommended!
We visited this agent yesturday and was greeted by two dogs that were barking at us and made it impossible to speak with lady. We can say that we found this to be very unproffesional and do not understand how people will do business if they cannot speak with the agent as we felt rushed and flustered and could not get information we needed
