Very friendly and helpful personnel, complimentary breakfast includes everything one might need to get the day started. The room was a bit smaller, but considering the price and location, it was very good. Cleaned daily, everything in the room was working, really nothing to criticize. Will be coming back for sure.... I stayed at this hotel with my husband and 2 sons. from 24th to 27th in room 12. The room was clean. Mario and his son were very polite .eve the cleaner was amazing always happy to help and welcomed not just us but anyone she is always happy and cheerful .Ali is at the desk at night and was always ready to help such a kind hearted person .we stayed 3 nights .left 100% happy .Will definitely stay again .its not just the clean room it's the way the staff treated us good .... Zero Star from me. The room was extremely noisy, anyone walked/moved upstairs the whole sealing was making a very loud noise so I couldn't sleep the entire night at all. The room was super small very dark and NO space to move. everything so dated and old and cheap. The receptionist charged me £120 for a very very bad room only because he realised I was too tired to go anywhere else. The worst experience of a hotel I've had in my entire life. Giving a one star only because we booked with them, covid happened, they won’t give a refund which is understandable in any other circumstances but I would imagine during a pandemic with people struggling as is that they would be gracious enough to afford to give refunds to those who didn’t apply for hotel insurance (due to the fact that we could not afford the insurance). Lesson learned and money lost, just giving a friendly reminder to those who book with Athena, they truly don’t care about you as long as they make a quick buck in the process.... Read more
