Avery Cole don't just rent properties, they rent dreams. When you need to contact them, simply call and be serenaded with Phil's golden, unbelievably smooth voice. Philip and team provided us with an outstanding service, and I cannot recommend Avery Cole highly enough! Having been let down by another local letting agency just 3 day prior to our moving date, Philip and the team did a remarkable job of arranging tenancy of an alternative property within this extremely tight time frame. Viewings, negotiation, referencing, contracting and preparation of the property were completed within 3 days allowing us to move in on our required date. Despite the haste of the operation, the level of service delivered by Avery Cole was simply exceptional. Indeed I have never received such excellent service from another letting agency over the past decade in which I have rented property in various areas across the UK. Philip brings a high level of professionalism to an industry which (from my experience) is sadly lacking. Many thanks to Philip and the Avery Cole team - we are grateful for your hard work!... Kai Green - is a fake name and review. There has never been a tenant in any of the properties let by the agency with a tenant of this name. However, we do believe we know who this person is. Unfortunately we are not able to control 'trolling' and anyone reading this comment should look to the more positive reviews which are far more accurate. The agency is a small 'family style' agency, both landlords and tenants have been with us for many years and we pride ourselves in satisfying all our clients all the time.... Read more

Avery Cole is a tightly run ship, and all the better for it. Phil and Trish were always quick to respond to emails or concerns, sending out contractors as soon as possible. They were very helpful and understanding, especially about timelines towards the end of our tenancy. Those few issues that arose during our 3+ years were always with the landlords, as opposed to the agency themselves. I would definitely recommend Avery Cole to anyone looking to rent in the area. They provide the sort of bespoke service you don't get from the bigger agencies, who tend to treat you as just another cog in the machine. They also manage some fantastic properties, though they are, of course, beholden to the whims and budgets of the landlord, as all agencies are.... Read more

In relation to the comment about fake profiles, it is highly convenient to blame bad reviews for being fake. Why are there not a large number of positive ones instead? I have to experience as well which is to keep away from this agency. Mainly due to bureaucracy and lack of customer empathy.... Read more

Absolutely awful company with extremely poor customer service. Inventory clerk was late to a check out appointment. There is a lot of lying and doing anything possible to keep the money of good tenants who have not done any damage to the property and always paid rent on time. They are extremely slow at trying to return your deposit and the woman Patricia Scanlan is extremely rude. The landlord is non-existent and does not respond to any of your questions. I would recommend that you stay away from this old company who does not follow new regulations and attempts to make false accusation regarding your property's cleanliness when it has been professionally cleaned. Do not waste your time.... Read more

I was renting a property in Surbiton 2015-2016. I initially was welcomed in nicely by a woman called Trish, however as time passed the agency wanted to do inspections on more than three occasions in one year which was rather disturbing. They insisted they would come in with their own keys as I would be at work so it was a real struggle to try and arrange an appropriate time. In the end, when my tenenacy was terminating they kept £250 from my deposit for apparent issues with the cleaning even though the flat was professionally clean and claiming I had put a bolt in the wall (when I had never done such a thing) and damaged a tile. The Agency never compromised on any of the issues and there were large delays in receiving my deposit. I would not rent with them again. In my next properties where I have rented around Kingston it was always easy to get my deposit and they were able to instantly tell me what money they would withdraw as I was doing the check out. I think the problem with Avery Cole is that they do not make decisions instantly and try to create delays.... Read more
