rang to view property they had listed; agent seemed more interested in arranging a valuation on my own home (cart before horse IMO). When I cancelled that, I was told I'd get a call back with a date and time to view the house I was interested in but it never happened. Owner's loss, I was a genuine buyer, but I wouldn't want to be selling through them!

We have recently sold our house through Bagshaws Bakewell .Firstly we sold our property subject to contract within days of marketing and the pre sale process was not only smooth with attention to detail but highly professional throughout . Viewings were arranged efficiently with prompt feedback offered including beautiful photographs and additional advice regarding legal and moving services. Our sale despite being lengthy and protracted never the less was straight forward and efficiently handled . At each stage the team at Bagshaws kept us up to date and informed. A particular big Thank you to George Chandler @ Bagshaws who without a doubt through his excellent communication made the stressful experience of moving house all the easier. We would definitely recommend Bagshaws Bakewell to our friends and family Thank you everyone at Bagshaws

George and Georgia have been fantastic with the purchase of our new home, which we achieved in under 4 weeks!!! Georgia was particularly helpful in acting as a polite and prompt liaison between ourselves, our solicitors, the seller, and their solicitors. I have been extremely impressed and have nothing but praise for the Bakewell office of Bagshaws Residential.

Didn't have a great experience overall. No problems in regards to moving in aside from the fees which we felt were completely unjustified, but one of the issues once we were in was that we consistently struggled to get meter readings - or even a reply via email or phone regarding this, and trying to call the office to speak to the agent we were dealing with (Hannah) was almost impossible. Promises to call back after lunchtimes were rarely fulfilled. The biggest issue, and one still ongoing, was trying to tie up the final energy bills as Bagshawe were switching the energy supplier at the end of our tenancy.

This estate agents is much superior to others in my experience over recent years. If George says he will ring you back he always does. If we have a question whose answer takes some exploring he does this too. He answered many questions from our buyer to try to enable a smooth sale. Bags haws are always there when you need them from start to finish. The photographs and writing up the sales advertisement to completion nothing was too much trouble. We highly recommend and will be using them once againfor any future sale. Thank you FIona and FRancis JOrdan.

Bagshaws found a buyer in January/ Februaryof 2020 and a sale was agreed later and then lock down was imposed on us.
However, since the relaxing of lock down Bagshaws informed me on 16/05/20 that the buyer had withdrawn from the sale.
Initially I was not that happy with the photos used online and asked them to redo some.
Several members of office staff not exactly respectful; rather patronising when on the phone.
Also sometimes the viewings relayed were incorrect times.

Really would recommend Bagshaws. They have been very helpful from the very start and offer a professional service. This is the first time I have rented out a property and I was quite daunted about doing it as it’s all new to me, but Bagshaws have been very helpful and guided me through everything and made it seem very straight forward and stress free.

My only critique is that you do, sometimes, have to chase them on things but this is nothing out of the ordinary for a agency of this nature!
