Santa Claus Mark was true to his word from day one. He said it would take 3 months to sell my property. It took 2 months. Christmas has come early for my family ????
I truly am grateful for the hard work he has put in behind close doors. He has listened to all my fun,happy and sad times. He was so patient and had loads of empathy towards me. I can't thank him enough.
I would also like to thank Daniel with the advice about securing another property from the proceeds. I just ran with it and now have a bigger home and can afford to do it up how I want too.

Highly recommend Baistowes Edmonton branch.we bought our first house with the lovely Ashru who is the mortgage adviser and done an excellent job.
Daniel and Mark were brilliant too and have been very helpful with all the queries and every time our problem was dealt promptly

I wouldn't trust these guys to sell me a pair of shoes, let alone a house.
Mark is the branch manager, and he's a 1/5. Unreliable, unprofessional. The fact that he's a manager does not bode well for the company culture as a whole, and I'll be avoiding Bairstow in all future endeavours because of Mark. Daniel at least shows up, and while he didn't really wow me like many estate agents do (he's very passive with very little to say about anything, and dismissive) I'd give him a 3/5. For this office as a whole, 2/5.
From the outset I had a meeting scheduled with Mark to provide copies of our ID after our offer was accepted, he didn't show up. Worked with Daniel in his absence who is a bit friendlier and shows up but doesn't have much to offer otherwise. He was a bit bothered that we'd had our own conveyancer rather than the one they get a commission for and I think that set the tone for the whole transaction as they were very dismissive from there on. I tried very hard to make this a win-win smooth transaction but they made it very difficult and definitely fall in the camp of giving Estate Agents a bad name. They do not act in the interest of the vendor, but rather in the interest of their own wallets.
A month and a half after offer accepted they still refused to mark the property as "Under Offer" or "Sold STC", very dismissive when this was raised up. They promoted the listing instead. 2 surveys showed that the property needs new roofs immediately (rear outbuilding roof is basically missing at this point, main building roof is collapsing on itself and is letting a lot of rain into the loft, and the non-insulated roof on the bathroom is literally held together with DIY tape.) We saw symptoms of the issue but did not expect the full gravity at the time of our offer. The state of the roof needing replacing was identified despite them obstructing surveyors access on the first visit, which I can't be sure wasn't deliberate.
Our accepted offer was £3k over asking and on my suggestion that the seller propose concessions on the price in light of us having significant unforeseen costs (in the spirit of win-win wanted the vendor to propose something) Mark told me I was "ridiculous" and said the vendor is relisting the property (they never didn't have it listed?). The fact that they wouldn't even consider lowering the price down to asking is alarming to me, given the house is a liability. Roof specialist survey found that it isn't even lawful to sell the house in this condition and that the vendor would be subject to a £5000 fine for trying! Is it not reasonable to ask for concessions to be considered knowing you're taking on such a liability?
Bairstow are unprofessional, questionable unethical, and in my time did not display any kind of real competence in this transaction. They seem complacent in a hot real estate market and will likely be the ones to suffer the most in a cooling one.
I've worked with many other Estate Agents in Enfield/Edmonton who are far better, professional, and informed, and I'd recommend that anyone reading this post looks elsewhere for their business.

We cannot recommend the Edmonton branch highly enough. From the initial valuation of our house by Mark (Manager) to the day of completion we were very impressed. Mark came in with a valuation higher than other agents and we were sceptical but gave him the chance to prove his sales talk and he surely did! We had an offer within a week, and then Daniel took over the process from there. Daniel is a real credit to the company, he was an absolute star throughout and his communication was excellent. He worked so hard to ensure everything went smoothly and we can't thank him enough. Huge thanks to Bairstow Eves Edmonton, you are top class!

Mark was excellent from start to finish although only met him twice we built up a good relationship over the phone will miss talking to him he was more helpful than the solicitors that sold my property would highly recommend bairstow eves especially mark .

Today i expericed one of disrespectfull fone conversation with manager of this place ,i have requested to vi3w a property at this estate agency,they told me to leave my contact and will get back to me but never did and then i start calling them back 4 5 times and keep telling me that they will call back and today i called with private number and they answerd my call and i told them why do you tell me that you going yo call back but never ,so at the end the property has been sold and i have not raised my voice or got angry i just told them that its not fair in what tbey are doing telling ppl lies ,and told them they shpuld improve there costumer service and the manager i spoke was like blaa bla bla and closed the fone then i called back and i told him how rude he is and he said that i was shouting at him why should shout and yell ,
