We were persuaded to use an auction method. But there was no communication regarding viewings or once the auction ended. There was little to no vetting of potential buyers. Messages and emails went unanswered. Altogether a poor experience and we went with a different agent who delivered a confirmed sale two weeks later.

Bairstow eves Grays are brilliant estate agent. They did the utter best to get my purchase deal over the line.i am very thankful Ayse Seagrove ,She was extremely helpful though out the journey! As a first time buyer I had no idea about the process of purchasing but she was very helpful from viewing property to completion . Thanks Bairstow eves Team. Definitely highly recommend them.

Well, we got our sale. But before then, so many things went wrong, most of which could have been avoided. To begin, (1) Richard (broker) disappeared off the face of the earth whilst trying to secure us a mortgage deal. We called several times and emailed and he completely blanked us – who does that? So we had to find another mortgage broker. Completely unprofessional. (2) The whole team could learn common work etiquette when it comes to going on annual leave, put your out of office notice on so clients won't nag you! Simple things that in our situation could have made us less stressed and wouldn't hold up things in the process unnecessarily. (3) Communication between client and solicitors are generally poor. They could do with simply pick up the phone and talk directly to the solicitors sometimes. (4) We were misinformed of our completion day (again, due to poor communication between them and solicitors) and when we spoke to the team on the day (won't mention names) they just didn't show any compassion, super blasé and just didn't show care. Bearing in mind, we booked moving van, movers, annual leave, childcare plans etc, totally unfair as we are paying them to sell our house! We are their client! Very, very poor service in that situation.
Ayse (though she didn't handle our whole case as she took on another) seemed super professional, lovely and hard working. Every time we spoke with her she just seemed like she knew what she was doing and was so reassuring to us throughout.
Lastly, our seller's estate agent seemed the most passionate about her job and worked hard to get everything done. She was doing most (if not, all) of the chasing and providing updates for our case more than Bairstows – wished we went with them or another estate agent in the end! Glad we got our sale and our dream house but won't be working with Bairstow ever again.

I sent an email for 3 properties I would to view in Chafford hundred, Grays two weeks ago, they called me up and said they would booked me in for the viewing for each ones but I never heard back from them and when I called to hear for an update, they said they would call me back about and I am still waiting waiting for any update, now the properties are gone and they kept blaming their system
Waste of my time.

Absolutely first class Estate Agents. Bairstow Eves in Grays have sold 2 of our properties in the last 5 years, Ayse, Scott and Joseph are absolute professionals and worked hard to find the perfect buyers for our property each time. They kept us informed throughout and reassured us when we had concerns. I would recommend them to anybody looking to sell in Thurrock.

Ayse has been more than helpful during the entire process of buying a property, she was supportive and present the entire time. If it wasn’t for her, I am sure we would have missed the cut off for our mortgage offer due to delays with solicitors that she made sure to chase up at every opportunity. The sale process from start to finish was positive and nothing was too much trouble. Scott nelson was patient and kept in touch by the odd friendly phone call (not intrusive) for over a year whilst our tenant tried to raise the funds to buy the property. Eventually we had to put the property on the open market and Scot visited several times to advise and eventually achieve a higher value than we had thought we could achieve.

This review is for Gary Wilson because without him, we would have not got this house before our mortgage offer expired. Our journey has been 7 months long and in the space of 2 months he made our hopeless opportunity turn into a dream come true. He went above and beyond to ensure that everything was in place and gave us constant updates to make sure each step was done. Me and my partner are so delighted to have dealt with a professional and we wish him all the best.

I was interested to invest in property and as i saw an add online, I decided to go in branch in Grays to ask for further information after a shopping in the area. My dress code was not that smart.
The agent inside was friendly, but he gave me fake informations about the property as they saw me dressed like pijama style clothes(but not pijama). I even gave them my contact details to let me know further too, because I refused to believe that all that is true. (Now 2weeks later never received a call).
The informations was that a private flat in Grays is sold with tenant inside which pays rent £500 a month, in middle of Grays city centre around train station, like really?
In 2022 I hardly find a room to rent in a shared house with this amount a month and mostly they are single room.
When i arrived home i gave them a call on the same day, for the same property and asked same informations and at the phone I received different informations.
Nice, so they treat people the way they dresses up. But this is not the case for everyone. Poor people likes to look rich and rich people don’t give importance to the way they look as they have more important stuff to do to become richer.
So dear agents, be careful who you refuse in future, you might loose an amazing deal!

After a prolonged process and agrovasion from all concerned, Garry W went above and beyond dealing with the matter at hand and pulled all and everyone in line. Dealing with B&E with Garry at the helm was a good thing, without him my sister would have been sectioned by now !! Moving is a very stressful time, and the indusrty needs more people like him, when you are at your most stressed, its good to know when someone steps up and says, chill, I got this and they have. On a persoanl level, Garry... Thank you.
