The communication from the people viewing the property was not provided from the start, despite asking for it multiple times.
As I found out towards the end they kept it, just didn't share it with me until I handed my notice in.

Pictures were photoshopped awfully.
1 Bedroom had blotchy walls for no reason, the grass was turned fully yellow (dead) when it was probably 20% yellow and 80% green when the pictures were taken.
Our Bathroom is small, and the picture was taken at below sink level so you got to see lovely images of the pipes from the sink and the toilet, but no bath or shower.
A professional photographer was used so I put that down to the professional photographer taking a poor shot, however, the bathroom is probably the poorest room anyway, so it just compounded the issue

First 4 weeks of viewings the main estate agent wasn't even aware the property had additional parking at the side of the house which was part of the property so all the people that were shown around basically hadn't been informed. missing the majority of interest from people on Rightmove every day. Pictures of said additional parking were on Rightmove and it was mentioned in the description, perhaps it wasn't communicated but I would have still expected the lead agent to have looked at the listing online.

The Property description on Rightmove had no punctuation, and was described as 'a blank canvas.'
1 bedroom is pink, 1 is a deep grey, the living room is sage green with mural wallpaper.

I seriously consider this a pointless disappointing waste of time.
On the plus side, they were still somehow better than 'Fresh properties'..

We recently sold our house through Bairstow Eves and we were completely pleased and satisfied with the whole experience. From start to finish, which took quite a long time due to some set backs with potential buyers everyone we dealt with was professional, communicative and gave a first class service. When our first buyer fell through they had viewings arranged within 10 minutes of putting the house back on the market and through this they had an offer within a few days! Their fees were very competitive too. All the staff are very friendly and helpful too. We wouldn't hesitate to recommend Bairstow Eves ????????????????????

I can fault the first class service that I received from Bairstow eves. From viewing to completion they were very professional.
Scott handled the viewing,Hayley handled the offer and Andrew dealt with any queries till completion.
On the day of completion, though the shop was on lockdown,Andrew went out of his way to meet me at the shop to hand over the keys to me.

I don't mind admitting that I did not think that an Estate Agent adds much value to a vendor in today's property market being that buyers just look online, right? So wrong as once I switched to Scott and his team at Bairstow Eves, I was overwhelmed with viewings and had a fully vetted purchaser at the full asking price within days of instructing BE. They were calm, responsive and patient throughout the fraught process from offer to exchange and I have no hesitation in recommending them to anyone looking to sell in the Grays area.

I chose Bairstow Eves because my first point of contact Andrew Marshall
was the only estate agent who told me the cost to sell and gave me a honest valuation from the start. Can't beat honesty in my book. He also put me in touch with a very good solicitor ( Luke Neale PCS ). I was caring for my mother at the time and the team had to rearrange viewings several times for me but were totally understanding and did it with a good heart and never wavered, which I would like to thank them for now,THANK YOU. I know Andy even tidied up on one occasion after a decorator had been in
and I couldn't get there, can't ask for much more than that, top class. Scott was brilliant chasing up for me, Lakeeba and Hayley all really good.

If you are looking for a mortgage broker DIONNE SMITH is the woman for you!!. The awards and accolades that sits around her office does not do her any justice, she deserves a public recognition for her amazing work she does to secure you the best mortgage deals. I have had 3 brokers in the past and they were all not in her league - AT ALL!. Her warmth, her compassion, her personality, her loyatly and fierceness is what everyone DESERVES from a broker. She will do all your negotiations with estate agents (and boy can she neogotiate). If you are in love with a property she will do everything to MAKE SURE you get it! When I met Holly for the first time, I was impressed by the professional, thorough and realistic approach to selling a property which she demonstrated, which inspired confidence. In practice, once I selected her and Bairstow Eves (Southgate) to find a buyer, these - high - expectations were fully met. From the outset, Holly set to work quickly to market the property to show its full attributes and potential, she then managed the buying process fairly and professionally, including competing offers, and she was also accessible and responsive to my queries during the whole process. The result was an exchange of contracts at a bit above our target price two months after she put the property on the market - an excellent result! I would not hesitate to recommend Holly as an agent to anyone looking for a responsive, effective and highly professional service to sell their property.

Our Landlord is selling our house so we need to find somewhere quickly, especially having two children it was a huge worry to find a location safe for them; whilst also quickly. We dealt with numerous letting agents over the past few weeks, many failed to call us back, didn't answer the phone and couldn't even remember who we were at some points. However, today I had the pleasure of dealing with Bairstow Eves and Matthew was absolutely brilliant. Very professional but also friendly and quirky which put me at ease. After viewing the property, I didn't even feel the need to keep calling to check progress because he had contacted me the same day and sorted everything out before I had chance to chase up the situation. This is what you need with a letting agent! My dad is a Landlord and this is the only place I would recommend for him to go to let his property. 5* service 5* communication. Thankyou!

Claire Dack was so patient, clear and knowledgeable, a great advocate and able to lift your spirits too. We so appreciate her seeing us through trying to move during lockdown when so many places were closed and she was working so hard.. she is a real credit to bairstow eves, I would highly recommend her.
