Despite de lockdown and the difficult time the agency went through, we had Sophie and Liam helping us out moving into a new property with a great professionalism. However, once in the house, end of June, the maintenance team completely let us down, keeping ignoring our emails, resolving a very few issues a couple of days only before the rent is due to then chase us for the fullrfull payment, once paid keeping ignoring our emails again... Very appalling

I bought a property through Bairstow Eves Estates Agent Purley. I am very grateful to have Luke (the branch manager) took care between me and the seller. It wasn’t easy at all I must say (it was like a full marathons!), there were so many challenges and unknowns throughout the whole process, one after another and another one. From the beginning until completion, for 5 months Luke was always there whether by WhatsApp messages, emails or phone calls to help, to find out, to follow up and to answer all queries and activities. He was honest, approachable, responsive and informative. He consistently engaged with both seller and buyer parties (incl. solicitors) to ensure everything is continue moving forward until completion, the final finishing line. Not to mention, Luke also went the extra miles and visited the property for few times based on my requests to take some videos inside the property when I can’t be there. Even after completion, Luke was still there to offer his help...

I had to give 1 star to write this review but to be completely honest they do not even warrant 1 star in my experience.
Tried to sell my property with these agents and was a complete waste of time. They considerably overvalued the sale price to entice you to sign with them within two weeks it was dropped 50,000. After 6 months of no reasonable offers I took it to a professional, honest agents who sold it in 2 weeks.
Would definitely not recommend these agents if you want to sell your house.

Unprofessional and uneducated people working here. How do I know? They were selling my flat and Mark Alexander, the Manager, called me to force me to sell when he wanted me to sell (all he cared about was his commission). I told him I wanted to wait to make a decision and like an upset kid, he just hanged up on me! If the Manager, who is supposed to give the example, behaves like that, then that gives u a very grim idea of how the whole Company is. If you want to sell your flat, do it with real professionals who have your best interest in mind, not only their commission. To be fair, Adam Shackman who was the Negotiator for the sale was professional and polite at all times. But if a Manager behaves like that, that ruins the whole experience and the reputation of the Company. Nobody should deal with a Company that has unprofessional and uneducated people in charge.

We have just finished moving to our new place thanks to Laura the manager. She helped us with a very complex case of leasehold apartment purchase.
Not only Laura helped us to navigate throughout a very long and complicated process, but did an excellent job keeping us updated on a regular basis and proactively progressing the purchase.

Most of all we were really impressed with her knowledge; she was able to communicate most complex issues with our solicitor directly and help to iron out a lot of problems, plus she managed to pull all parties involved together to make things moving in the right direction.

Her experience and input was priceless, and she went the extra mile to make sure we will move in before School Applications deadline!
We are pleased to recommend Bairstow Eves to anyone looking to sell or buy in the South Croydon area.
