I recently became a first-time homeowner, and I can't speak highly enough of the exceptional service provided by BairstowEves, particularly Aliyah and Shelley. Aliyah's dedication and promptness in providing crucial information, even communicating with the seller when needed, made the entire process smooth and stress-free. Her accommodating nature, allowing multiple visits to the property during my decision-making process, was greatly appreciated.
When Shelley joined the process, their teamwork seamlessly facilitated communication between solicitors, ensuring progress despite numerous delays caused by the legal side. Despite the challenges, Aliyah and Shelley's professionalism and commitment shone through, keeping me reassured and informed every step of the way. Without their dedication, I'm certain the process would have taken much longer than the already lengthy four months.

This is the second time I have used Bairstow Eves South Croydon branch services. The first time was five years ago when I bought my flat and again more recently (November 2023) when I sold it. During the most recent experience, the process was was much longer than I originally anticipated, due to no fault of the branch! The staff there currently, particularly Mariam, Aliyah and Shelley, were very patient, explained the process throughout, were very accommodating especially when arranging viewings and always courteous and helpful. I would highly recommend their services. Thank-you!

I have recently completed my contract with them and I have been following with them for excess rent paid which has not been refunded till date after constant follow ups with them. It’s really been disappointing with the way they are handling the situation. Didn’t expected this kind of response and behaviour

Initially l was impressed with their presentation regarding marketing my property, indeed the photos and 3D walk around were excellent.
I had around 6 viewings resulting in one offer that l accepted of 300k.
The buyers valuation of which there were two, resulted in a £20,000 drop in the value.
I do not know how they came to this figure as two other flats in my block had sold for £250 and 255 K, admittedly they were both 2 bedroom, however, l do not believe that my flat is worth £70000 less than those properties.
I could not drop 20k so from then on the whole process ground to a holt.
Bairstow Eves insisted that my revised offer of 285K was excellent given the current market to which l disagreed.
I have now given a month's notice to remove the property as l do not feel that l received the support that l was paying for.
I would also like to add that it was incredible frustrating trying to contact anyone on the phone, leaving a voice message did not seem to amount to much either.

Estate Agency is hard work right now, and you need to have an agent who is prepared to put in the hours to deliver. In the Croydon Branch, Elliot and Tenaha both worked really hard to sell my house, and I appreciate all the work they put in. I'd recomend them at Bairstow Eves.

Absolute thieves. Make sure you do not give them any holding deposit as they are very scummy, will steal the deposit and ignore your emails after. Nasty ppl

Mac's team at BE Norbury went above and beyond in helping me progress my sale. It was a long and arduous process and the team (Mac, Salal and Sash) handled it super professionally and with good grace. I have particularly appreciated the efforts they went to in following up with the other parties and keeping me informed throughout. Particular mention to Salal Hassan who was instrumental in proceeding things and was an all round superstar from start to finish. An absolute pleasure working with these guys and I would not hesitate to recommend them for your sale.

Just Terrible!
They placed me in a fire Hazzard tenancy without any prior information about building safety defects.
The letting agent did not inform me that the tenancy is affected by flammable cladding and fire safety defects. It came to my attention only months after I already moved in. As a result, I was stuck in a building that’s extremely unsafe, with no options.
I was forced to “live in fear” of being abandoned and left to die if there is a fire, as happened to disabled Grenfell residents.
Furthermore, The agency ignored my multiple requests for the personal evacuation plan.
Note, this agency manage several properties at the address: 6 Waterworks Yard, CR0 1UL - this building is covered with flammable cladding and does not comply with safety regulations
