I originally selected Barnard Marcus to sell my house, as after visiting most of the agents in Surbiton, they were the only one to have a number of suggestions on the options/strategies to use. They had clearly thought about the current market and how best to structure their approach to ensure viewings. I especially found the Branch Manager Joanne Hughes helpful and she was always willing to make time to talk through any questions I raised. Both Joanne and Georgia took time to get to know my property, so they could use this knowledge to answer questions from prospective buyers - a refreshing change! I am very glad I chose them as my agents.

I am a landlord of 1 property and used these guys as letting agent for 12 months. I am not exaggerating when I say the worst customer service I have ever received. They use a 3rd party called sequence to manage the letting and there is zero communication between them. They allowed someone to view my property who damaged some blinds during the viewing. They promised me more than 10 times that they were going to fix the blinds which never happened. They also sent people to view my property and forgot to tell me they were coming. Now the tenancy has ended and they are still chasing my tenant for overdue rent as they have not realised the tenancy has ended. They also owe my tenant her bond back which has been asked for several times. They never return calls, never communicate to each other, just generally bad basic customer service. The only thing they can do is take money. 1 star is 1 too many.

Fantastic service on letting my house. I cannot speak highly enough of the team in Surbiton. I had struggled to let my house as I was moving abroad. From the moment I met the Lettings manager Chrissie I had confidence . She really knew her stuff. She gave me good advice including what insurance would. Be appropriate as I was going to be out of the country. The team did a superb job and found me long term tenants at the rent I wanted. The whole team were excellent.
