This company are so unprofessional it is unreal. From the first time I spoke to Giles and he told me that he was going to give me "discount" on the fees so they were cheaper than another estate agents, so we would rent the property through them. Turns out there wasn't a discount and we ended up paying more than the other estate agents. Every year we had a renewal with them they made endless mistakes in the contract... Things as simple as our names. And their renewal fees! What a joke, how someone can charge so much for them to send you an email is beyond me. "Admin" charges, when your admin can't even get the document right. When we came to leaving the property they sent us emails meant for our landlord discussing how much they "suggested" we paid to leave. And now we keep receiving emails intended for landlords or tenants with addresses, amounts of money etc on them, apparently it doesn't matter if you let them know of their error because they will continue to send them.

I didn't take Holly's advice to use Chancellors in-house/recommended solicitors and regret this - please use them if you are able to (despite being a little more expensive you will not be disappointed and the service will be second to none).

DO NOT USE.... Chancellors valued my property way higher than it is worth to win business. Do not fall for the same mistake I did... they have lots of market presence but notice that 95% are for sale and not sold. They tie you in to a long sole agency contract and just ask you to reduce.. sometimes twice in the space of one week!!! My property was on the market in June and they have not had one viewing. When out of contract, they tried to claim if I go with another agent, be sure of who their introduced buyers are. By 'Introduced', they classify this as someone spoken to about your property and not necessarily actually been out to view. Based on this I was expecting at least 100 people being in the profession myself. When withdrawn the list of 'spoken to / emailed to' buyers was no more than 30. They claim to be a good agent and use neighboring offices to play to their advantage however clearly this had not been done due to the few people spoken to despite being on market for 3 months. Leads were missed and or not called until the next day. Not a proactive agent and only interested in the money-earners. Anyone with a 1/2 bedroom - AVOID AVOID AVOID.

Shambles as a letting/ property management company. We moved in November to a fully managed property. We had no hot water for 2-3 weeks after moving in after botched repairs and useless contractors. Then waited in for handymen to come and compete work who turn up and advise they're there to quote and not actually do the job (when we relayed everything that required repair). On 21st December our oven broke and we advised them early morning of the 22nd, we heard nothing from waterfords until we chased on the 27th and 29th Dec and then after promised phone backs from contractors and being advised that the job was actually logged on the 23rd (but no communication from them) we gave up and got our own contractor and paid for the repairs ourself. The property management team have since advised that we will have to foot the bill because we haven't used their approved (incompetent) contractors and have been completely unsympathetic. If you're letting from them- I'd be very wary- their fees are at least double other agents and we've encountered some of the most appalling 'service' - I myself work in the service industry and understand things do go wrong but to not rectify or attempt to resolve issues in a timely manner isn't acceptable. If you are thinking to let your property through them think again, I'm sure if we contacted our landlords they'd have no idea at the misery we've been put through since moving in.

A big thank Ewe. For me this was the first time that I had ever sold a property and was very unsure of what estate agent and option to use, until I meet with Rob from Ewe Move, he presented me with a lot of information about properties that had recently sold in my area, the way Ewe Move operate, their charge's and much more, I was so impressed that I signed up with Ewe move there & then, Rob took some excellent photo's both inside & out (no waiting several days for a photographer) which I was invited to view at their office later that day, by 5pm my property was for sale on the net, one week later it was sold for the full asking price. Both Rob & Mark was in regular contact with me throughout keeping me updated with the progress of the sale. From my own personal experience I cannot fault Ewe Move in any way and wouldn't hesitate to recommend them.

Generally the agent was good though he encouraged a price drop. Not so impressed with the solicitors they recommended. Though they did improve, with a change of staff, towards completion. Offer to completion was too long at about 3 months. I still don’t know what caused the delay?

Highly recommended.

Condescending and unprofessional. I recently contacted Greg James Estate Agents about viewing a property. I was asked to provide personal details other than my full name, email address and mobile number (which they already had) and when I politely questioned why it was needed for just a viewing only, I was met with sarcasm. (No other estate agent I have dealt with in the past have asked for this information at this very early stage, so it was a genuine question and I made this very clear.) I would highly recommend AGAINST using this estate agent; the correspondence I received was unprofessional, filled with spelling and grammar mistakes and the managers obvious attitude was apparent. I no longer felt comfortable meeting up for a viewing because of the hostility I recieved, so I cancelled and was told "don contact this company again" (assuming they meant "don't"). The topic of abduction and murder was also brought up in the same email, which is highly unprofessional. As a respected businesswoman, I have advised all of my colleagues to avoid using this agent, and I will continue doing so in the future. At no point did I actually say that I wouldn't send the requested details and I would have happily provided them if I wasn't mocked for asking a simple question. However I am very happy in the knowledge that this company doesn't have my address, as I wouldn't feel safe in my current home.
