After rushing from work to get to my viewing on time I phoned the property consultant who had emailed me the day before. He had who had no idea who I was or where we were meeting. After giving him the information he probably should have noted down himself he said he would be with me in 10 minutes. 15 minutes later he phoned to tell me that an offer had been accepted for the flat so it was no longer available. Apparently this wasn't his fault as he had only just found out and couldn't quite grasp the fact that he is telling me this over the phone 15 minutes after my appointment was supposed to be. He should probably consider getting a diary or maybe a job that doesn't involve organisation or a basic level of customer service.

Service was good while we were looking for a flat and smooth once we had found one. However, it wasn't until we moved in that we discovered that they manage the property and the service then was an entirely different story. Many problems in the flat were never dealt with by Matt our property manager. When we requested to change our property manager we were told that they would be changed which never amounted to anything. Beresford is Clearly a company that care more about their sales than their property management & I would advise not to use them if they are managing the property you are looking to rent.

They were OK in terms of showing the flat. We wanted to make an offer but decided not to go ahead because on top of standard high agent fees they have a £300 contract renewal fee. For us this was too high since we had originally found the flat on OpenRent (no fees) and it was then taken over by Beresford. Paying hundreds of £ in fees with the agent adding little value is difficult to swallow.

We are renting a property managed by Beresford. It is our worst experience. Massive water leaks have not been fixed over months, resulting in dampness all over the flat. Finally the landlord took over himself and the leak had been fixed within 30 minutes! It turns out the landlord is a very nice person and is as disappointed about Beresford's N O N - P E R F O R M A N C E as we are. This agency proves well why agencies have such a bad reputation and that there is entirely no qualification or basic understanding of construction needed to run these.
