Best Homes Estate Agent Are one of the best agent around in croydon martin as been just Fantastic in managing my property over the years and when it was time to evict my tenant due to non payment of rent he was straight on the case and in visiting the property and serving appropriate notice to leave. Also giving me good advice along the way as at this point the tenant was being awkward in leaving the property on the date giving to leave. Martin best was just excellent in dealing with it all the way till the end and the legal paper work to Add which help me to relax and have some peace of mind that i will get my house back which we as landlord need at times. i like to say a BIG BIG Thank you to Martin best and his staff at Best Homes for your help which all turn out to be fine in the end. when owning and buy to let flat or house it really important in choosing the right agent and i can say i did with (BEST HOMES) I will look foward in working with you all again soon. I rented my property through this company. I told Best Homes that I do not want someone that is on benefits, have pets of smoked. Apart from that I am fine with their choice. The person they rented to had fake (forged) references that Best Homes did not check out. Within three 3 days of the tenant moving in she contacted me and said that she would not be paying her rent as she was on housing benefit. I contacted Best Homes who told me that she was self-employed and on a good income. It took 18 months and three court hearing to get rid of the tenant. The tenant still owes my over £4000 and Best Homes has washed their hands of the entire affair. The police told me that Best Homes were under a duty of care to check the references (they didn't). My MP sent Best Homes a letter saying that Best Homes were incumbent to pay me the missing money (they didn't). I wish I had never heard of this company.... Read more
