I really enjoyed my visit to Harrods. The different departments had a beautiful selection of products. The food halls, perfume and makeup departments were among my favourites. All members of staff were super helpful and professional. Some customers were quite stressed with their Xmas shopping and getting quite snappy with members of staff in the gift shop; the members of staff pulled together and dealt with it professionally. I'd definitely recommend a visit. I'd like to see the bookshop the next time that I'm in.... Read more

I love Harrods. People think you have to be rich to shop there but it has something for most peoples pockets. The Christmas crowd was out in full force. They have 10% weekends several times in a year. Most goods are 10% off and during the sales you get the additional 10% off too. Great level of service. The staff are never rude they are very helpful. Yes it's expensive but it offers so much more. It has character. They do lots of great things for Christmas. So go along and take a look. Especially the Christmas Halls, the food halls and the beauty halls. I hope you'll love it as much as I do.... Read more

The 5 stars is for Harrods afternoon tea. This was excellent. Food was superb. Left totally stuffed. Staff v helpful & friendly. Harrods as a shop is its own enigma. It's enormous & just feels like loads of random shops shoved together. Looks impressive at night with the lights on.... Read more

Great for a wander round to see how the other half live! Then go buy a bauble in the basement! And something from the amazing (but busy) food hall! Make sure you use the toilets, and try not to get lost! It’s an iconic shop, go visit and spend what you can afford! Afternoon tea at Harrods, we'll, what can one say..... I was treated to this experience by my sons and it was wonderful. The attention to detail was lovely along with the beautiful surroundings. The staff were amazing and the man who served our table was so knowledgeable. Not being an adventurous tea drinker I told him what I liked and he chose for me, what a great choice it was. The sandwiches and cakes were amazing. My son is Coeliac so had the gluten free choice. This looked, and he said tasted, as good as the regular choice. Definitely worth doing as everyone should have a treat in their lives.... Read more

I have not been for a few years but I felt that many things have been diluted. Food hall & the excellent variety of food choices. Still amazing though. Publicly renowned. A shopping experience in itself. Unfortunately the cafe does not live up to the rest of Harrods. The chai latte was laced with enough cinnamon to form a tree and the consistency was thin, almost water like. Not the standard expected and would only just pass as a cafe Nero item. We had afternoon tea which was bought for us as an anniversary gift. The experience was very nice, complimentary champers, lovely finger sandwiches and amazing miniature cakes. The tea was of great quality and was bottom less and to finish us off, warm scones with clotted cream and jam. The service was very good and we were not rushed in any way. Afterwards, a little bit of shopping in the store, then home. A great day out.... Read more

Beautiful place, very unique clean and tidy, everyone is professional there. Only difficult part is to find the exit like a maze run and everyone is trying to get in the lift , I was in the lift and I did press the button 8 times and always someone pressed it from outside, took 5 minutes to reach to the next floor. Christina on the ground floor beauty section (near Kylie skin and the ordinary) gave the best customer service I have ever experienced. She had great knowledge, was honest and personal. She was approachable, friendly and showed her passion for skincare. I feel Christina deserves recognition and/or promotion for the work that she does. I live in Birmingham but I would go to London at least twice a year, unfortunately sometimes I never got any further than the Harrods store. You could spend the whole day in the store a truly wonderful store, the staff are always very friendly, they Usually have many demonstrations going on. The food hall is very reasonably priced for takeaway food. I love going to the pet department and seeing the pets. I would always go Christmas time and buy one of the Harrods teddy bears, they were made of the highest quality and very reasonably priced, I would then donate this to the Children’s Hospital. If you ever go to London you must go to Harrods store it is a must-visit and no you do not need any money just to visit the store. I will say again the staff are extremely friendly. I can categorically and unequivocally say it is the finest store I have been to anywhere in the world. I cannot wait when one is allowed to travel again, it will be truly wonderful to be able to go and visit London and the Harrods store again. ????????o... Read more
