Friendly, helpful, efficient and honest. A buyers assessment. As a solicitor for over 40 years I have known numerous estate agents and had a good experience with Burns and Webber. Cranleigh is a very popular place and this firm is well suited to it. Clive Bradley was the primary agent.

Buyer Beware!!!!
We offered full asking price on a property , was told that same day the vendor would be delighted to accept our offer, this was followed up by an email confirming the above asking for proof of identity solicitors details etc thus allowing them to send out the memorandum of sale.
The property was then advertised as sold subject to contract.. off the market!
Job done you would imagine.
A weekend spent believing the property was ours and moving forward on that basis.
The following Monday we were greeted with a voicemail telling us another offer following our accepted one was now being considered offering over and above the asking price and that they were legally obliged to put it forward, ha ha ha !!
One would of hoped the days of estate agents encouraging and facilitating the act of Gazumping was over…
We were cash buyers
If you are looking for an agent adapt at the above look no further…

Real shame my best friend is an estate agent and to be honest he is decent and conducts himself with integrity…………. a few bad apples I guess

Whilst the journey from the first consulation to completion was longer than anticpated, the team remained positive and focused throughout the process which delivered a committed buyer in the end. Thank you to Burns and Webber for their excellent service and efficiency in selling my mother's house. The photographs were excellent and everyone was always polite and curteous. Big thank you to Clive and the team and a special mention for Chris Livermore who kept us updated and was brilliant throughout. I would definitely recommend Burns And Webber. They are very professional and an excellent all round estate agent.

The staff were always friendly and helpful. They dealt with questions promptly. They have someone dedicated to making sure that all elements in the buying and selling chain are moving so any issues are picked up early. It is very reassuring to be updated regularly on progress.

Burns and Webber worked assiduously to bring our sale to completion. In fact we received more help and support and updates from them than we did from our solicitors. It was not an easy exchange for a variety of reasons but Clive and Livvy worked round the clock and weekends to keep every thing on schedule. It is so reassuring to know they will pick up the phone and ring back asap if needed. We would not hesitate to use the company again and highly recommend a very proactive, extremely efficient and professional firm.
