Fantastic trip, fantastic service. I decided to take a safari for the first time, usually I arrange my own travel, but because I only knew I wanted to see the Great Migration (and knew nothing else) I decided to use an agency. Originally booked in 2019 for 2020... when I confirmed that I would not be able to make it, they rebooked everything for 2021, and then helped navigate the difficulties of travel in the time of COVID. The trip was amazing, and while travel in these times is stressful, they made the process seamless as possible. Glad I went, I have never seen so many wildebeest! Travel Butlers planned a fabulous 3 week South African vacation for my husband and I with short notice (approximately 1 month in advance). We live in Chicago and despite the time change they were a breeze to work and communicate with. I worked with Tracey at Travel Butlers, and she helped plan and organize the time spent in each destination. We wanted a beach retreat (Mauritius), Cape Town, the Winelands, and a 3 day safari. The hotels she recommended were excellent, all of the drivers/transportation she hired were phenomenal, and while we were on our trip she touched base to make sure everything was going swimmingly. First time we have used Travel Butlers. The two centre safari holiday they put together for us was superb Tracey and the team were extremely helpful and matched our preference to two lodges that certainly met our requirements. I would not hesitate to use them again or recommend them to others. Rhulani Lodge in particular far exceeded our expectations and I would recommend it to anyone wanting a safari with that 'back to nature' feel, eco-credentials, but without compromising on the finer things. We have recently returned from a 2 centre African holiday booked through Travel Butlers. We found them online, and from the start Tracey and the other staff listened to our requirements, adjusted the package offered to suit our budget and requirements, and put together a fantastic holiday to Sabi Sands game park, Kruger Park, and then on to Vilankulos, Mozambique. All transfers were exactly on time and as expected, the hotels and lodges exceeded our expectations, and the game drives from Elephant Plains lodge were unbelievable - we were so close to leopards, elephants, rhinos, etc, that it would have been possible to touch them from the truck. We wanting a trip to SA which included the Winelands, Cape Town and a Safari. Using Google, I came across Travel Butlers and gave them a call. After speaking with Tracey, she gave me the confidence I needed to trust her and her company to arrange the trip. What can I say about Tracey & Travel Butlers - Wow, thank you, brilliant and Fandabbidoosar. The care Tracey took for us to have an absolute tremendous SA experience was outstanding. As this was the first time to SA, Tracey advised us of a hotel in the middle of Franschhoek (Winelands), then a hotel in the V & A area of Cape Town, followed by 4 nights on the Entabeni Safari conservancy lodges, 3 hours North of Johannesburg. everything about the trip and experience of SA and Travel Butlers was fantastic, we cannot praise enough. I recommend TB as they want you to have the experience of a lifetime and that is exactly what was delivered and more. It has been an absolute pleasure being taken care of by a family travel consultancy, even when our flights were changed, Tracey dealt efficiently and keep us informed at all times. I had the pleasure of working with Natasha on a safari/beach package to celebrate our 20th wedding anniversary. This was all done via email mostly due to the time difference between the US and UK. I can't say enough about the customer service. It is top notch! Every question was answered promptly and she really did a wonderful job of suggesting properties that we enjoyed. Tracey Campbell was amazing. I had a number of difficult requests ie a last minute trip during February half term, Malaria free safari, a private transfer, on a budget & with a reasonable transfer time. Travel Butlers sorted everything and responded very quickly. My 14 year old and I flew from Heathrow 9pm Friday evening to Joburg and had a 3 hour private transfer straight to Entabeni where we had 2 game drives every day before breakfast & before dinner. We saw EVERY ANIMAL apart from Leopards !... Read more

If you want something special on a visit to Africa then I highly recommend Travel Butlers. Have used them twice for a family trip to Tanzania and a trip for my wife and I to Victoria Falls, Botswana and Namibia. Fantastic experience each time.... Read more
