Take ages to do anything. Made several mistakes when writing the contract. Provided us with the wrong amount of keys. Send very blunt emails with no sense of any formalities or politeness and when we finally moved out took forever to return the deposit. Would never use again.... Read more

Absolutely appalling firm, never reply to emails or phone calls, they sub-let the flat to the Council to house the homeless, never paid the rent on time to us, still owe 4 months rent after we terminated their tenancy... Read more

They are cheats and cannot be trusted. They don't pay the rent to the Landlords, so Landlords beware of them. Do not use them. (they don't deserve any stars)... Read more

One worst estate agents I've ever used in my life. They never pay on time and there have been over 3 months delays at a time with my payments, still use checks which do not always clear. When there is a problem with my flats they find me straights away but when they are over due on their payments the manager seems to be the only one who can sort it out and he is never in and when he is he is disturbingly unprofessional and quick with excuses. I only wish i could have given a minus star as they are so unprofessional.... Read more

Gets tenants in shared houses even across the road to knock on the other tenants doors to give messages. Refer to their tenants as werzal gummage. As they never go to their propties they don't smell the in fill off weed smokers in the properties, as they can't be bothered to cross the road and give messages... Read more

Carlton Property Services backed out of our rental agreement less than nine working days before our move-in date. The landlord had decided to give the property to his cousin a week after we put a holding deposit down (and the day we had, on CPS' recommendation, transferred the water/power/gas/council tax/telephone to our name); worst of all, Carlton's solution was to offer to rent us another property from the same landlord in two months' time.
