ORRIBLE AGENCY don't do the repair I wait 2 years for fix the bathroom and the vent and sink in kitchen still have problem so I don't rennove the contract... so if u looking for have house to rent and lost deposit that is good agency for u but if u want a professional agency to recommended go in Google serch and stay away to this agency because is ORRIBLE.... It’s with great regret to post this review. In all my life of dealing with difficult people in many industries from hospitality to customer service, I’ve never been more angry or frustrated with a group of ‘professionals’. Initially upon visiting houses I was excited to move into my new apartment, I had arranged all my work around the move in date and was given the impression everything was moving ahead. Immediately after receiving referencing information I filled in the form and sent them back so that they could be checked. 6 days later (and 2 days before moving in) I was notified that they hadn’t received my forms. Again I promptly sent them out. Around 3 the next day (the office closes at 5) I was told they needed a guarantor. The entire day on what should have been an exciting move in day, I had to deal with numerous systematic issues (whilst everyone I needed information from was working). Normally I’d find it unfair to name drop however Sam was extremely defensive on the phone and claimed it was entirely my fault and if I didn’t like it, tough. I still haven’t moved in, today I’ve been told I need to do MORE steps and quite frankly at this point I believe there is some prejudice towards our background that is stopping them from treating us fairly and professionally. If you are young and excited to be away from student lettings, stay far away from case McNair.... Read more

First agents to put the effort in. Our viewing had to be cancelled as someone secured the property and the guy on the phone didn't just tell me we had to cancel he asked my requirements and searched to see if they had anything else to offer us. We have been doing lots of viewings recently and felt like we have had to put more effort in than the agencies have been doing but case McNair each time have been willing to help! I'm a tenant new to Manchester and living in the city centre. These guys the agents here were the ones who helped get me settled in. In short, they're fair, honest and not your typical estate agents. The process of moving in was mostly smooth; they had maintenance guys come in prior to my moving in to fix the issues I raised with them. An example of the company's exceptional level of service was demonstrated to me last month when I came back from holiday on a Friday evening only to find I had lost my keys. I knew that the only other set of keys were with Case McNair. Surprisingly, my contact at the company was willing to put their Friday night temporarily on hold to come meet me at their office to lend me their only set of keys. I'm extremely grateful to Alastair for that. If you do reach out to this agency to discuss a property, you may see some of the agent's email signatures with 'Savills' branding. They were recently bought by Savills; it's likely that they were recognised to be worth the investment for a myriad of reasons. Case McNair's level of commitment and service to their tenants may well be just one of those reasons. I believe that they're worth your trust, as they've certainly earned mine.... Read more

Letting with Case McNair has been a pleasant experience - Alastair McNair, in particular is very professional. We didn't particularly have any maintenance issues with the property, so cannot comment, except to replace kitchen chairs which was a swift process.... Read more

The worst estate agents I have ever dealt with. Unprofessional, unhelpful, rude and complete liars. Don't dare question them on anything as they will make up BS to stop you from letting from them again without even consulting landlords. Sophie Mitchell, especially, is incompetent and I would advise people to avoid dealing with her. They also charge you extortionate amounts for the tiniest things to deduct from your deposit. Avoid at all costs, many many better and more honest agencies across Manchester who manage apartments in the same blocks e.g. wilburn basin and one regent. Pathetic company.... Read more

Highly recommended. From viewing to getting our keys to our brand new place, it only took about 10 days. Swift and straightforward. We were provided a great information pack when we moved in which included a handy WiFi code. Great service and nothing was too much trouble. Anam, in particular, is great - always quick to respond and address our queries. Huge thanks to the team and keep up the good work! AVOID AVOID AVOID terrible company staff have a terrible attitude, lost my 1500 pound deposit due to a broken chair leg on the sofa which was flimsy when we moved in reported the issue nothing was ever done about it. Dont expect to get your deposit back from these people, nothing is ever a fault of their own, very slow contact rate when you want something from them it took them a week to get back me each time but when they want money off you they contact you immediately. Moved in and the flat was a mess, nothing had been cleaned, hair everywhere. Sent a cleaner over, who arrived the same day (7pm) and tried to clean everything again in the biggest rush (unsuccessfully). Once we moved out, we cleaned everything to a 100x better standard than what we arrived to, and they still charged us 90 pounds for cleaning? Had troubles with noise & weed smell from our neighbour flat throughout the whole year and nothing was done to resolve this issue at all. QUICK to act when asking for money, very SLOW to act when there's a problem to solve.... Read more
