Renting a property from here.Shop never opened and they never answer the phone. Did send a email and they emailed back said they rang me ( had no miss call) and could i give them a ring but again goes on to voice mail. They also owe me one months rent but doing nothing to return to me. Poor customer service.... Read more

Tried calling and calling . Just got an O2 voicemail service. Went to the office in town, closed. Nice one for letting your tenants know how to contact you ! Not! Stopped my rent. Not paying £350 a month to live in a place with "undrinkable" water, no heating and no shower.... Read more

Well I've now had the house with century 21 in Halifax for over a year now and had no interest in the property, so reduced the price by a massive £20,000 to gain some interest in the property. Now I get my first potential buyer who's supposed to come and view the property. Get a text from the estate agent that I've got someone to view my property on Saturday at 1pm. So I rang the office in Halifax to speak to a member of staff on Saturday to find out why the person hasn't turned up its now 2pm and why the estate agent didn't come to show the property as they were given a key and is part of their job. When I rang the office only to get through to a answer machine with a recording of "well you've reached the phone of century 21 our offices are now closed because we've had a major flood leave a message and we'll get back to you". So I left a message to my luck I had no reply from them I live in Halifax my self and I'm 100% sure that we've had no floods in the town centre. When giving them your property you are promised the world but in reality they are liars and incompetent. I will now go into the office and speak to someone in person. At the same time I wanted to let other people know to stay away from century 21 if you want positive results.... Read more

A mixed review the owner Hassan was polite and after some minor issues arranging a viewing, we did view and were pleasantly surprised with the property and duly placed an offer that was accepted. We would have expected the property to be removed from the market following this. We had arranged our mortgage and solicitors when we received a call from Hassan to advise that another offer had been made and would we like to increase our original offer. Due to how far in we were we felt obliged to increase and asked for assurances that should the offer be accepted it be removed and no further issues. Following a short wait we were advised the other buyer had increased considerably higher thus making it not possible for us to compete. I appreciate Hassan's job is to get the best offer for the vendor, however feel he could and should have done more to aid the understanding of a buyer in an unfamiliar situation.... Read more
