Hello my name is Vlad i hope this i will be helpful for everyone which they want to rent or buy the house whit this guys i lose the money becouse they don't make the proper job and they disturb you all the time after they take your money i am very disappointed and i feel very angry about this people and something more i forget to say don't trust never in that guy Richard Chaudry MARLA and all the people from this Agenti on the end please careful to don't pay the money and on the end to don't have the house were to stay whit the family and 1 small children 5 year old! Avoid them at all costs!
Their business model for advertising properties for sale is, go see the seller and convince them they can sell the house for a higher price than other estate agents as they have sold a lot in the area, win the business and then just a week and half later, get a team manager from the head office in Bracknell to lower the price as there are not enough viewings and it keeps going on and on. Don't be fooled by their proactiveness and speed to get you on the market, that's literally all they care about (The 1 star is for that). You will only get viewers who are never interested to spend anything close to what you have advertised it for, ending in receiving constant feedback from viewers saying 'They feel they could secure a property larger than your's at a better price'.
To top it all off, they managed to loose hold of our only buyer, who gave an offer, which we eventually accepted (on the same day) and we were being mis-guided by saying they couldn't get hold of the buyer, whereas we found out that Chancellors never followed up with our buyer, so he ended up buying few other properties, being an investor.
14 weeks into a 16 week contract with them, I felt this was just a waste of time and lodged a complaint with their Directors and to their head office and requested to stop all services for us, which they did eventually after another few round of email pestering. It has been more than 2 weeks now and I haven't heard anything back anything regarding the complaint, except for a complaint acknowledgement email and the head office saying they are 'investigating' call records.
Unless you have lots of time to spare and don't mind dressing up your house for viewers who will never make you an offer near to your asking price, as they are never intending to buy a house around that price, which I believe none of you would been keen on, stay away from them. Absolute cons!
PS: To put a contrast into the whole aspect, we ended up going with Bairstow Eves and they sold our house for 99% of the asking price and in just the third viewing. This is how quick things could have been done!

This is a terrible company to avoid at all costs. I have periodically advertised a property to let through another agent and every time I am constantly pestered by people from this agent who miraculously have a queue of tenants who want to let my property. I have asked them repeatedly to stop calling me and they just continue to do so. They are unethical in their practices and a total nuisance. I would never ever use them based on my experience

Hopeless Estate agents, couldn't even meet a surveyor at the house to let them. Very slow in contacting the seller, tried to sell you their own mortgage advisor who charges a whopping 1% of house value, ouch! Stay clear!

Used these when I first rented out my house, a few years ago, they were awful and I’d absolutely stay way. The manager Richard was rude and very unhelpful, it was his way or the wrong way. I asked to be present for the quarterly checks, they done them without telling me. My tenants were late on payments a few times and Chancellors didn’t have a clue, I had to chase them each time. When I finally got my property back at the end of the tenancy, it was a wreck and they gave me NO help or advice on how this was to be rectified. Pretty much paid them just to find tenants...DO NOT USE!!!

We were impressed with the speed our property was let out and the monthly rent achieved was higher than we were hoping for. Abi-Leigh was very efficient in quickly securing the tenants and communicating with us. So far everything is going through smoothly. The team have all been easy to contact which we hadn't found with our previous letting company.

No Health and Safety consideration for tenants - moved me into a property with no heating or hot water, violated health and safety guidelines, broke my tenancy agreement , shocking service , only want the money, dont care about tenants AVOID!!!

Almost impossible to say anything positive about Chancellors at all. A brief list of some issues faced over 1 year of tenancy: They accepted my offer on the property only to phone me back later to ask me to pay more, listing the property as unfurnished only to have be arrive on the day to several heavy items of unwanted furniture including a stained mattress, leaving me with no key to the utility cupboard or letterbox, leaving me with a broken radiator (the only one in the kitchen/living room) from November until July. If you can absolutely help it, rent with someone else.

Absolutely terrible, avoid if you can. Their property management is the most frustrating bunch of people I've ever had to deal with. The first guy we had Rob did absolutely nothing to deal with any of the issues in my flat, and when he actually did do something he did everything wrong, I ended up just going via my landlord instead because at least it would actually get done. I was on good terms with my landlord, and he agreed that he would release my deposit in full, unfortunately chancellors did not. I spent three days arguing with them, they claimed that I had missed payments, owed them fees which were never made aware to me in the contract. I had to send them bank statements, ask them to send me evidence in the contract where I owed these fees. Of course they couldn't send me any evidence because these fees never existed, and I finally got my money released. But yeah, just don't bother.
