As rental agents the service has been appalling throughout my tenancy. Tenancy ended seven days ago , keys returned.... still waiting for them to arrange an inventory, delaying my deposit and rental overpayment being returned.

Having moved house 10 times in 30 years, I have plenty of experience of estate agents and RBB are by far the most proactive agent I have come across. They maintain a personal yet professional approach at all times and Lucy has been very good at sourcing exactly the right sort of properties I was looking for. I only wish RBB covered my area as I would not hesitate in asking them to act as my agent.

I was looking to purchase a property earlier this year and nearly all my dealings were with Mrs Alison Thomas who was scrupulous over keeping me informed about all negotiations by letter. She was particularly good at matching the client to the right property. This is so important when you are house-hunting as you can waste an awful lot of time and money driving long distances to view properties that are obviously not what you are looking for - and there are a lot of estate agents out there who try to push you into buying the wrong property. I rented recently with Chancellors. It seems there are some fake reviews here. But the lettings reviews are 100% correct. They are nice when it suits them eg whilst selling a place. Renting from them was an absolute nightmare. The lettings team are lying constantly, played the same game by whitholding my deposit even though the landlord had said it was fine and to allow me to have the deposit back. On top of that, the check in and out inventry, don't use them. They are not legit and have a deal with them. They will try their best to keep back the deposit. And will want their own cleaner to do the job, if you refuse they will be looking for any fault or create a fault. I would strongly suggest if you rent, go else where! These people are liars, especially the ladies in the lettings department. I will never use them again and will ensure all my friends and family go else where going forward.

Tried selling my property via this estate agent that says they where the best.when the valuation took place we did say there was 2 owner my ex wife and myself.after 3 or so weeks I got the contract and signed then did my security/money laundering checks. We kept chasing as my ex wife still had not received a contract to sign.shortly after I spoke with someone I received an email saying I owe them money as they cancelled my contract under frustration and that I had not done my security checks which I had done. They said they have stopped marketing my property for which I’ve not see pictures or even description of the advertisement. I’m now being threatened with legal action for money that they say I owe. Stay clear of these and make sure you use email which I have done as evidence for which I will use in court if it goes that far.
