From valuation to the sale of our property all the Staff of Charters have been thoroughly professional, helpful, courteous and a real pleasure to work with. They have kept us fully informed both prior to and with follow up to viewings, the latter being particularly useful and never unrealistically hopeful. We requested additional photography as Spring turned to Summer and the response was immediate and clearly very helpful to the sale. The photos were excellent. We have been especially well looked after by Sarah who always willingly went the extra mile to accommodate our requests. I feel sure that her personality was very helpful in achieving the final happy result of a sale. Thank you to whole team for the result.

Myself and my husband have been with Charters over the last few months when they bought the estate agent we were with.
Ed has been amazing through the transition and then with our sale. It hasn't been the easiest with the bottom of the chains solicitor and getting everyone sorted in time for exchange (happened yesterday!) To say we were anxious is an understatement as our mortgage agreement was due to expire on the 25th of this month. My husband and I were close to pulling out of the sale.
But Ed went above and beyond and helped reduce our anxiety through it all and we are extremely grateful we got him as our estate agent. We couldn't ask for a better, more genuine, trustworthy and honest estate agent.

We phoned the Charters Alton to buy our second house. Spoke with Manager Richard, Sarah and other members of the staff; found to be extremely helpful.
Met Richard in his office in Alton. He is kind, honest and very efficient person. On top of that he has extensive knowledge of property market. We went to view couple of beautiful houses from Charters, unfortunately they were above our budget.
Richard is trying his best to find a suitable house within our budget.
We would not hesitate to recommend Richard at Charters for buying or selling your property.

We viewed couple of houses, unfortunately they were above our budget. Richard listens and give advice what is the best option for us without any pressure. I first met Sarah when she came to value my house. Sarah was extremely professional, engaging and thorough, taking detailed notes on my property spec to provide a property valuation.
On instruction I dealt with Jack, Ed and Rich, who were always extremely professional and polite. They were all, a delight to deal with.
I was given prompt feedback the next day which was always honest. As the Sale of my property continued, Sarah was always on hand to speak with me honestly and openly about what was happening within the market and how my property fitted within this, I valued this very much. I honestly cannot fault Sarah and her team for the work they put in to securing a buyer for us. Thank you *****

Over the last few months Jack has been very proactive, in helping with my search for a new home. I was kept up to date with houses coming onto the market which met my search criteria. We spoke weekly to catch up on how everything was moving along.
If your house hunting in the Alton area, and prefer to deal with people rather than generic emails, Jack and his team are highly recommended.
