Since using Chartwell Lettings to rent my flat they have been spot on. Their vetting process is very thorough. The first Tennant was reliable and friendly renting the property for well over a year. The managing agent Keith is resourceful (obtaining a parking space) and gets things done such as decorating and any repairs through his handyman Paul. When new Tennant's moved in Keith gave me a full update on them so I'm very happy the rental income will keep flowing in.... Read more

If I could give more than 5 stars, I would. Moving in was made stress-free and easy thanks to Keith and the team. All referencing was easy, and everything was explained in detail. We didn't get to use Chartwell for long but as a comparison, I wish we could. We had a few minor issues in the property we let but it was fixed, quickly. Communication was thorough and we always knew what was happening. Only moved out due to a change of circumstance but if we could be using Chartwell right now, we would.... Read more

Couldn't recommend them enough. We have been renting from Chartwell for about 6.5 years. We only had a few issues with the fridge and washing machine during our tenancy but Keith and the team have always gone above and beyond to get someone to come and fix them as quickly as possible. This is the first time I have rented on my own and nothing could be more simple. Chartwell Residential have been upfront and honest with me from the very beginning. I much prefer having a conversation with a genuine person than a sales person who will tell you anything you want to hear. I shopped around looking for my first flat, this was not easy as I planned on living alone. Other agencies invited me to showings but I could not secure anything, even though I was offering to pay everything that needed to be paid upfront there and then. I felt that because I wanted to rent on my own people would not give me a chance. Until I found Chartwell Residential. Whilst under-staffed and stretched thin, the amazing people at Chartwell Residential took me from a phone call to living in a place I could call my own within a matter of weeks. I could not be more satisfied with the service they have provided and how friendly they have been whilst providing it. I waited a week before reporting any problems as I wanted to find them all first, there were only a couple. After one email, an engineer was sent out to not only assess the issue but have it fixed the following day. The shower taps no longer turned off completely, instead of a bodge job the engineer replaced the taps without messing me around and with the minimum amount of visits. I have had experience with engineers dragging out a job to increase their hourly rate but here, this was not the case. Overall, I have no complaints, only praise for Chartwell Residential, thank you for all your efforts and I look forward to renting from you for many years.... Read more
