Chas R Lowe Estates opened for business in 1876 and has since become established as the most successful estate agent in the Barnet area.
In the 145 years since we first opened our doors, we become something of an institution in the area, and we can still confidently say that no other agent knows more about the local area.

I chose them because James had come to our house a couple of over the years to value the house and has always been really friendly and very honest. Not only sis he give me advice on the sale of my property buy one I was purchasing having as well, which was above what he needed to do.
James and David found a buyer quickly and it was the process from offer to completion is where they excelled even more. David outlined the time and and stages and would literally update me every week. He would contact all parties involved. He cut through anything irrelevant and just gave me the info I needed to know. Absolutely fantastic job. And really nice people

Avoid this estate agent like the plague, very rude, will put phone down on you, they will drag any house sale whether buying or selling unnecessarily when you question this they will act like you are in the wrong and very quick to demand excessive fees when due for their less than 1 star service
Please send this review far and wide to avoid anyone else falling into there trap and buy or sell elsewhere.

I recently had the pleasure of working with David at Chas R Low estates who helped us with our first house purchase.
Throughout the entire process, David was invaluable. He went above and beyond his role, ensuring that we were well-informed and supported at every step of the way.
His level of work and communication was outstanding, promptly providing updates, answering our questions, and offering guidance whenever we needed it and he consistently went above and beyond.
I cannot thank him enough, and I am truly thankful for his exceptional support :)

Never Buy the Insurance which they advice for Rent guarantee.. it is not worth the paper it is written on. As it will be a contract with the EA and Insurers and you will not get any Rent back if the tenants default and go for the claim.

My purchase could so easily have fallen through at various points but he chased all the parties in involved and he got responses whenever they were needed. There was no task that was too much of an ask for him. He was there and contactable throughout the process. And now I have my dream home. Thank you James!

Even in this touch market Chas Lowe were always available to answer my calls, no answer phones, none of this no one 'is available' to help today! Professional, know every aspect of the property market, sometimes more than my solicitor did. I also used their Financial Adviser who kept every everything under one hat. Excellent all round.

5 star customer service. The only estate agent we dealt with who were upfront, honest and didn’t engage us in bidding wars.

From first meeting for valuation to the final day the team were all very helpful and professional throughout the whole process from viewings to completion. Communication is always key to the vendor in selling a house especially in times of loss and sadness. The team kept us informed every week of the sale of my late fathers house. The company owner was always available to discuss matters and provide advice when we required and were unsure. One of the best Estate Agents I've ever had to deal with and I've dealt with quite a few over my years. Great Company.

I recently bought a house through Chas R Lowe and found them to be highly organised, proactive and professional throughout the process. Also the staff there were really genuinely friendly. However there was long chain of 6 and some of the agents / solictors were not so proactive as Michelle who was great and she tirelessly kept the chain together and through a difficult job of agreeing a completion date, which was very difficult with securing removals, covid lockdowns and 6 person chain etc. Chas Lowe kept in constant contact with me throughout, ensuring a successful conclusion. I cannot rate them more highly for all their efforts and professionalism and I will definitely be recommending them to family & family.

We have used Chas R Lowe on a few occasions now and cannot recommend them enough. They are professional, helpful and really knowledgeable. They give good advice and are honest which is hard to find in estate agents. Throughout our sale they did what was right for us. Michelle is amazing and made everything come together within a tight deadline. They have brilliant knowledge of the area and tradesmen and are really helpful. They are wonderful!!!!
