We had been served by Peter Burgon who found us a new tenant after the existing tenant, AMZ Estates Ltd (also found by Peter) defaulted on their rent and we had to evict them from the apartment by way of a Deed of Surrender.
Since then we had been unable to get clarity on the outstanding rent owed to us by the previous tenant.
We had written unsuccessfully on multiple occasions to Harvey Asahi, Daniel Gregory and Peter Burgon who did not even have the decency to acknowledge our email.
So far, only Keely Wesley is responding diligently to our email requests on the new tenant but as the Property Manager, she is unable to help.
We had been letting our apartments through Chase Evans since 2015 and this episode is really a big disappointment reflecting the lack of accountability on the representatives of the firm.
It really created a doubt on whether we should continue this relationship with Chase Evans on the expiry of the current tenancy agreements of both our apartments in Trafalgar Place and Paddington Exchange.

Took a long time to resolve issues. Property manager fairly inefficient and did not do a thorough check-out for previous tenant who left a big mess in the apartment. Also, she did not ensure that all damages by previous tenant was accounted for resulting in repairs of more than GBP600 that landlord has to bear.

Chase Evans were thoroughly professional and very easy to deal with. There was only one month void between rentals and they quickly found a suitable tenant and negotiated the rent well on my behalf.
They advised me on current rental levels and although I asked for a higher rent we compromised....

Worst agency ever. Never have I dealt with a more unreasonable agency, especially during a time like this when we are going through a pandemic. First of all, once we made an offer for the place which they have accepted, they have been very unfriendly and demanding. They required us to go to the office to show original copies of passport and even required my guarantor to show original copies of his passport or get it certified. I have never had another agency ask this of me before and they will not make any exceptions seeing as the guarantor is part of a vulnerable group. They have threatened to pull the contract/offer and put the house back on the market which is them just trying to use fear tactics. Its a shame because the flat was really nice, but it is not worth it, they have cause us so much unnecessary stress. After reading all the bad reviews, I regret choosing this agency and will never use them again. There are much better agencies with simpler processes and friendlier agents. Please do not use Chase Evans, they don’t deserve your money, take it to a better agency.

NEVER EVER RENT FOR THIS INCOMPETENT LETTING AGENCY. The entire experience from collecting my keys, move in readiness of the apartment and the maintenance department has been abysmal.
There is just too much to write about how many things have gone wrong with them.
But one of the major ones has been that for over 2 months and we still don't have proper running water. When I email Chase to get it fixed, they responded within a few days and coordinate a plumber at their leisure.

Even if you find your dream apartment and Chase Evans are the letting agenct, avoid avoid avoid!

I been renting properties last 7 years. And my summary after one year renting in this agency:
- It was one year of hell, property managers changed 3 times. Nobodies care about issues with flat.
- Deposit return - last cyrcle of the hell, I hired the lawyer, because after 10 weeks I didn't get money, I didn't get any estimation, etc.

If you have a good lawyer in your freinds, if you have a good will and a lot of money - chase evans your choise.

I had one of the worst experience ever as a tenant with this company. I wouldn't recommend it even to my worst enemy:
- The intercom at the flat is connect to your phone. They needed more than 1 MONTH to get the intercom associate with my phone no. This means no delivery, no way to open to visitors without going downstairs from the 8th floor.
- The mattresses and bed frame were in a really bad condition so they said they were going to replace them. They only needed for this 1 year and a half to get it done, just before the tenancy ended.
- A quarter into the tenancy agreement a leak appear and the walls started to get mouldy. We reported immediately and 5 MONTHS later nothing has been done to fix it. This was causing us health problem and flooding the apartment with a massive stink. We were forced to contact the council regarding this issue since the flat was not in proper living condition.
This is what you get for £1900 a month with these people.

Worst lettings agency ever used. The lettings negotiator was extremely rude to my father from day 1 which is disgusting. The company made up charges and removed them without landlord permission which ended up in the property manager getting fired. They use overpriced inventory and cleaning companies which are founded and run by previous Chase Evans staff. Complete scam. Avoid at all costs.

Tony Truong has been a star: extremely professional, always very responsive and so knowledgeable. In my search for a home to buy, I saw quite a lot of properties and dealt with a lot of agents and I can honestly say Tony has been the best - really a pleasure to deal with him

We were a couple buying our first property. Tony showed us the property and was extremely helpful from start to finish. Not too pushy, which is surprising for an estate agent! The process was seamless from start to finish. Tony didn't bombard us with spam for every listing he had....the process took a while (Covid delays).

I have no hesitation with recommending Tony and Chase Evans for anyone looking to get on the property ladder.

Our experience with Chase Evans was terrible. Despite having a good sales team (thank you Saleem Akhtar), most property managers offer zero support whenever you have an issue. We had a one year contract but left the flat as soon as the six-month break clause allowed us because we were completely ignored every time we had a problem - despite paying almost £1,700 in rent per month. Once, when our boiler broke and started leaking - causing damage to our flat, as well as those below, and creating a fire risk - the emergency service told us to go and sleep at a hotel at our own cost. A complete joke. And the issue was only sorted thanks to the building's management because, almost 24 hours later, Chase Evans had done NOTHING to help us, but only made us suffer, leaving us without water in the flat. In six months, we changed five or six different property managers and every time we called to report an issue, we were told the property manager was on break or having lunch. Most of our emails and requests got ignored. Getting the deposit back took almost three months and we had to keep emailing them to finally get someone to look at our deposit. Only thanks to Muhammad Carr (thank you for your help), we eventually got most of it back. It's a shame because they have nice properties, but the service is absolutely shambolic. Avoid.

My roommate and I were looking for an appartement to rent in London. We proceeded from France, until the move in date. It was a complicated situation, plus we are French students so we had a lot of agencies turning us down. However Margaret Lombard from Chase Evans really invested herself into our case and is the reason why we were able to find an appartement in London.

Really professional agency.
After finding an ad online, we went to visit the apartment.
We met Margaret Lombard, who is very good at her job. Friendly and polite, she made us visit more than one apartment to finally find the one that best suited us.
Of course she helped and followed us throughout the process.
