Over the moon that we came across Dexters for the very first time when purchasing our new home, so much so that we also decided to sell our previous home with them! Zak at the Muswell Hill office was the agent looking after our purchase, from our first viewing to completion and we couldn’t be happier with the masterful way he navigated through the purchase process, oftentimes going way beyond what one would expect. We got stuck in a very lengthy and tricky process when selling our previous home, but thankfully Zak showed amazing initiative and acted very proactively to help us along the way - getting on the phone with our solicitors, freehold managing company, our buyer’s solicitor and even our mortgage broker and lenders! Who does that? No issue was ever too big or too difficult and his incredible attitude to problem-solving is exactly why we gave Dexters 5 stars. In our opinion, they’re the absolute best - no doubt! I revisited this establishment after a year to reevaluate my initial one-star review. I wish to emphasize the lack of professionalism demonstrated by this agency, particularly in their limited support for tenants. A dispute arose regarding my deposit, during which the agency falsely claimed I overstayed, despite clear evidence from their agent confirming the timely return of the key. Upon moving in, the property was in disarray, and the absence of a systematic inspection process led to uncertainty about the property's cleanliness and condition upon move-out. Returning the flat in its original state, I now find myself entangled in a dispute initiated by the landlord, attributing the situation to the agency's failure to maintain a clear record of the property's condition. Regrettably, I cannot recommend this agency, and caution potential tenants against the risk of deposit loss without a determined response. I am currently engaged in a dispute, challenging the agency's false claims regarding my alleged overstay.... Read more

We have just sold a house through Dexters, Muswell Hill. We went with a dual agency but did not need to, there was no competition where Dexter's were concerned, and got offers through them that far exceeded the other agents. The sale was a difficult one with two separate owners to please, however, the honesty, trust, advice, and professionalism shown by Dexters, particularly by Marlon Brown, and Jack Darnell-Brown, was reassuring and they went above and beyond. Dexters Muswell Hill manage a property on my behalf. I am sorry to say that their Letting admin service is completely rubbish. They never respond to telephone calls or emails. Come up with silly excuses as to why they don't communicate and fail to carry out basic tasks to do with the letting process administration. I am having to resort to getting everything from them confirmed in writing to ensure that its done. Once the current tenant leaves I won't be using their services again.... Read more
