Rent a flat in the north east of the UK via a agent who works on behalf of these monkeys "clear view ltd". No running gas of electric for well over 2 weeks, pure lack of communication from the actual company and a agent who clearly takes a wage and does nothing. All in all, the worst experience with a landlord ive ever had Also clearview ltd - you may claim the posts on these reviews arent fron legitimate people. Ill happily email my details to confirm who i am, and my review. I doubt these other users would waste there time posting any of this, if it wasnt TRUE. You are scum bag cow boys who are slowly going to be outted and pay huge fines later this year. :)... Read more

In the past 4 years alone , my husband and I have been involved in 5 accidents , 3 nine fault, 1 50/50 and 1 pending. This claims company honestly will let a millennium go by before they do anything . The slowest claims company and the owner has no idea “JALAL” always fake promises always will do it tomorrow or I’m cracking on with it now. They are a con, fiend off your money and that’s it, no help nothing they just want claims under there names. And 15 years experience phahaha yeah right of mugging people off . He will blame “business partners” but there’s so many business partners a person can blame . Not too be bias this isn’t my first claim with him , just to see how they operate and also a few friends have had a much worse experience. Wouldn’t even recommend to my worst of enemies... Read more

From Admin: It has come to our attention some of the negative reviews on here are unfair and irrelevant to our company as some of the people's names here are not on our database as our clients. Just to clarify one more thing in regards to deposits, we as an agent, we DO NOT keep any deposit money that we collect from tenants as it goes straight to the landlords, and if there are any issues in regards to that, then its between the tenants and the landlords. If only I could give less than one star. They are the ABSOLUTE WORST letting agents I have ever had the misfortune of even setting my eyes on. Their reactions to simple requests are unethical bordering on illegal. They should lose their license. I would recommend living in a cardboard box in a park rather than renting from Clearview. All of their employees are extremely rude, intrusive, unhelpful, and unprofessional. I have regretted renting from them from the moment after I signed for my flat. I am currently in the process of attempting to leave early. It is hell. They have made lying and stealing their profession. AVOID them at all costs.... Read more

I have been trying to get in touch with someone at Clearview for the past 5 months regarding getting my deposit back as promised. I can never reach anyone but the receptionist when I call or have friends stop by the office for me, and never got a response to any of the 20+ emails I've sent. If someone from Clearview is reading this, would you please check your email? Update: Nearly two years after moving out, I finally got the rest of my deposit back. If you are having similar issues, I would recommend the following. I did most of these things at the same time, so I can't tell which one made the difference. Certainly my countless calls and emails made no impact. 1) File a complaint with The Property Redress Scheme 2) File a complaint with Trading Standards at the Islington Council 3) Post a letter to the Clearview Director 4) Post a letter to your landlord... These are the WORST AGENCY I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. DO NOT rent a property through them. We had disgusting mould in our flat for - a broken fridge - was impossible to try and get hold of the agency - they were often rude and always unhelpful. Was a nightmare trying to get a deposit back. When you are paying £££££££ a month is totally unacceptable service. A very stressful and unhealthy living environment - I would not even recommend them to a rat.... Read more

The flat we rented from Clear View was not in a great state at all. We didn't have hot running water for over a month and only got a new boiler after we threatened to stop paying rent. Trying to get a deposit back is a nightmare that might lead us to consider legal action soon. When our cooker was broken, their reply was to laugh and say that students don't cook anyways. I would obviously not recommend these letting agents.... Read more
