Awful, aggressive and unpleasant agents. They frequently lied to me about the property (I found out months into the process the property did not offer a registered terrace and parking spot, as advertised). Their tactics then relied on bullying me and my solicitors into a terrible deal. While the agent made himself available to talk to me as the prospective buyers, he was aggressive and highly ill-informed. Communications were poor - bordering on bullying. Do not use these agents to sell your property. Use a firm that is professional and informed on basic conveyancing processes.... Read more

Landlords, please choose your property letting agent wisely. Please do not make the same mistake I made. When things go wrong, it can be very expensive. I was stupid and learnt my lesson the hard way. Clevermove were renting my house out and turned it into a hmo. From July 2018, all the tenants stopped paying rent, and they would not move out. Three of the rooms were occupied at the time. It is now February 2019. 1 tenant is still refusing to leave, the other 2 have recently left. The bailiff will probably take another month to evict the last tenant. Upto now, I have lost in rentals, approximately £14000 + more than £4000 in legal costs, and to make matters worse, from July 2018 Clevermove transferred all utility bills and council tax to my name. Through this whole ordeal I have had no support from Clevermove. I do not know what checks Clevermove did before letting the rooms out to these crooked tenants. I could understand if there was 1 bad tenant, but how can you end up with three bad tenants. Please look for a good agent, who will check tenant information thoroughly before handing over your keys.... Read more

Went for a viewing with Clever Move- the estate agent never turned up despite me confirming the viewing twice and sending three messages. I then rang them, and was given a terrible excuse from a rude woman. No sympathy for the fact I had travelled an hour for the viewing. Terrible customer service, rude staff and unprofessional, I wouldn’t rent any property from them because of this.... Read more

AVOID! AVOID! AVOID!. Rented a flat here in london and travelled a very long way to turn up to the rooms (couldnt preview them due to distance travelled) the place was an utter shambles. Rooms were TINY & DISGUSTING. Had used images on the website that must be 10 years old when everything is new. There was BURNED IRON mark into the carpet, mould on the bed frame, horrible smell and staines all over the walls carpet and mattress. Washing machine broke and was not fixed before i left and that was over a week no one could do washing. Hound you constantly for money for this and that and when you need something they dont want to know. The two people running this will tell you two different things so that when it comes down to grtting yout deposit back one person has promised you then you are reffered to the other one who says they did not agree this.
