Cliftons were the worst company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with, do not rent properties that they manage! If you have no other choice but to rent from a cliftons managed flat, like us, take pictures of EVERYTHING as soon as you move in. They will try to blame you for previous damage. I rented a flat for 2 years under their management and they couldn’t have been less inclined to fix any maintenance issues and they took any opportunity they could to take money off our deposit despite not providing the full and proper service! They are so hard to get hold of, when you call them they say email… then when you email you either get an excuse or no reply. When we moved out they heavily recommended we pay for a cleaning service they know of and when we did that they only booked them after we’d left the flat and so we couldn’t review the results and then tried to charge us for any cleaning shortfalls… The worst thing for me was when they only gave us a slot for moving out at 10am and when we justifiably couldn’t do that they charged us an extra day’s rent! Everyone working there should be ashamed of the service they provide, perhaps they should take note of all the bad reviews and change the way they do things.... Read more

My experience with this management company so far has been excellent. I've been renting with them for around 8 weeks now. There were a number of maintenance issues that I had to raise early on, but they have all been dealt with promptly and professionally. They were also good with me having a pet in this instance and have been working actively on my request for getting improved internet to the building.... Read more

Most terrible and disgusting experience to rent with them - been a tenant for 3years and had a whole range of issues with them. They have always been pushing off responsibilities when it comes to maintenance requests instead of actively trying to support and resolve issues - lift issue in the building lasted for 2 months with no compensation, gas and water leakage not dealt with immediately with support team being slow and rude. DO NOT RENT with them unless you want the worst experience ever :)... Read more

I am writing to express my deep dissatisfaction with the service provided by your company and to share my negative experience as a tenant. Since moving into the property, I have been tirelessly chasing the completion of maintenance and pest control work. Unfortunately, despite my numerous requests and reminders, these issues have not been adequately addressed. It is disheartening to see that the landlord and the Clifton management do not take health and safety concerns seriously, leaving tenants in a vulnerable position. Furthermore, it is disappointing to observe that while rent collection is prioritized, there seems to be a lack of commitment to resolving the issues that affect the livability of the property. This disregard for tenant comfort and well-being is unacceptable. I feel compelled to warn others, especially those with children, to thoroughly inspect the property for any existing pest or maintenance issues before considering signing a contract with your agency. It is crucial for families to prioritize the health and safety of their loved ones and avoid the difficulties and frustrations that I have experienced during my stay in your property. I must emphasise that my experience as a tenant with your agency has been extremely difficult and disappointing. No option to give zero stars. STAY AWAY FROM THIS LETTING AGENCY USE AT YOUR OWN RISK!!!! YOU'VE BEEN WARNED....TRUST ME!!!! ABSOLUTELY NO CARE FOR THE TENANT Just to add, My clients son had recently killed himself due to the pressure they put him under for money.......as soon has he was taken out the property, they burst down the door and took all his belonging before the family could. If I could put zero stars I would. Rude staff members. Contradicting tenant agreements even a staff member in account queries was confused and also rubbish communication. Avoid this company. Overpriced flats aswell the flat I had was growing mold in bathroom because no windows also damp on the windows floors had holes in kitchen and the cupboards kept coming off. Horrible. A man also killed himself in one of there flats due too the stress they put him under... Read more

If I could put 0 stars I would. I moved in 2021 February, I wasn’t aware that cardboard boxes needed to be broken up and put into the bins but a kind neighbour let me know as soon as and I solved the issue and she also mentioned how there’s been continuous rubbish issues prior to me moving in Infant the whole building were fined. I asked for permission for having an emotional support animal and they made up lies and said that they didn’t give me permission although I literally signed an agreement. They decided to kick me out and made more lies up blaming the rubbish problems on me even though the rubbish problems were happening before I even moved in. Make it make sense? They discriminated against my disabilities when they slammed the door in my face even though I told them how it took a lot for me to come to the office due to my mental and physical limitations. They caused me to attempt suicide multiple times whilst living there and made me feel unsafe. Continuously ignored my emails where I literally begged them to reconsider their decision and that even though I wasn’t the one who put the wrong items in the bin I would try my best to solve the issue. Still they ignored it even when I said they’re pushing me to suicide. How disgusting. They’re so lucky I didn’t take them to the papers. They always brought up money money money to me. Now I know the real reason they wanted me out was because they wanted new tenants to be paying more extortionate amounts and I could only pay the LHA rate. One person i would like to mention is Christina Ferreira who is a nasty individual for making up lies and trying to use my mental health against me to benefit themselves. I really hope that you never end up feeling the way you made me feel. You don’t even have basic human compassion, what a sad sad life you have. Just to mention I have evidence to support everything I’ve said as I know they talk poop out of their mouths. Stay well away from these sick individuals, they will never think about your feelings....
