WARNING DO NOT USE COUND Wandsworth. We have been on both ends of them renting on our behalf where they could not rent out the Tonsleys cottage at market rate in the busiest rental market ever in London. They are never around to take calls and the office is mostly closed. We did some test calls and they were never returned.
We've also had the unfortunate circumstance of being lied to throughout closing a tenancy which has cost us thousands of pounds as we tried to buy a family home with a new born. They can not be trusted so if your a tenant avoid at all costs. BE WARNED!... Read more

As a landlord we used cound to let our property, they are slow to pass on rent to us and very slow to reply to emails, even though we are trying to dismiss them, but they keep telling tenant to pay rent through them for the tenants own security ??!! Last month the rent wasn't paid as their accounts were frozen due to fraudulent activity(allegedly).
We are not using Cound to manage property they just collect rent and take their cut.
Avoid if you are thinking of of letting through them... Read more

A terrible agents who have acted dishonestly from the beginning of the process..... The flat I was due to move into has cladding work for the next 24 months. During which I will have my windows covered (No natural light) and unable to use my balcony. At no point was I made aware of this and now they have said I can pay them £900 to replace myself on the contract. But they have to find a new tenant first. Until which time I am liable for rent.. I haven't even collected the keys. AVOID AT ALL COSTS!... Read more

First I want to say that I finally have a home!
If I had met Deborah earlier, I am sure it would have prevented the months of stress I had within my property search.
From start to finish both Deborah and Tanya have been providing so much support and reassurance.
The current market is truly awful for renters, but she assured me that something positive will come. She took my best interests at heart and build a relationship with myself which has resulted in the success of finding my perfect space. Even post the viewing, she was on board to help me out as much as possible with both friendly and professional advice going above and beyond to ensure the happiness of both myself and the Landlord. Thank you for the help it has been a blessing to meet you.... Read more

We've recently moved into a property managed by COUND and could not have had a better experience. Deborah from COUND showed us around the property at the viewing and answered any and all the questions we had.
The offer process and contract signing was straight forward and the team at COUND were always responsive to any questions we had.
Since moving into the property which was cleaned/redecorated to an exemplary standard, we've also had immediate and helpful responses from Deborah and her team.
Very professional and affable service from the team overall, helping us to feel very comfortable in the property.
Highly recommend if you're looking for responsive and proactive letting agents.

I’ve had an amazing experience with Cound so far especially with our letting agent Deborah who was able to help me out within 20/30 mins after I had locked myself out. I was certain I would have had to pay for a locksmith as it was on a bank holiday Monday but Deborah was happy and willing to help!... Read more

As a tenant, once you paid holding deposit, the communication has been so slow and I feel being ignored all the time. We have passed our reference check several weeks ago, and I kept asking when will we get the contract signed. It’s so frustrating that you having a full time job and still have to chase them again and again - but not getting any responses. The experience has gone down the hill.... Read more

I've been lucky enough to be a tenant of a property managed by Cound (for 8 consecutive years in one property so prospective landlords read on!!.) and to have bought through them also - so if you're thinking of buying go straight to the bottom of the review :)
TENANTS/LANDLORDS READ HERE! The lettings part first - Cound were enormously helpful, quick to respond and resolve problems for us. I've got to say I read the last review and was shocked, and my experience doesn't relate to that at all. I know our landlord was happy too because he enjoyed a consecutive 8 year let - and you cant do that without happy tenants. Its really important to say Cound were always reasonable and fair, which is obviously the most important aspect no matter which side of the tenant/landlord fence you sit! I'll genuinely miss the interaction with the lettings team because they dealt with things well and with such good humour (...round of applause and screams from the fans for Shirley who became something of a legend in our house!). Couldn't recommend the team enough.
BUYERS READ HERE! Firstly, if you're looking at Cound you've got the first bit right - they've been in the area longer than anyone, so they know the market and all of the houses better than anyone in the area. I found their knowledge to be second to none - there was a noticeable difference between their experience in Wandsworth Town and the other agents I dealt with. As for the process, I will openly admit that I was not the easiest buyer - but they kept things on track with charm in the face of my (work-related) delays. The nicest touch though was the amazing Deborah who stayed on after work one day to talk to me about the market and answer my concerns - I really appreciated that, its nice to feel you're not on a conveyor belt which is the feeling other agencies have left me with!
A great bunch of people to deal with, cheery, experienced and they get the job done. So I hope you have as good experiences as I did with them. I'm looking forward to working with them again in the future - Owning a place in Wandsworth Town now I wouldn't dream of working with anyone else - easily the market leaders in the area.... Read more

Property listings are matched to data from the Land Registry by our clever algorithm. Clever as it may be, it isn't always right, especially if a property was listed by multiple agents. The asking price is the original listing price, NOT the final listing price.
