I regret buying a Crest Nicholson home and would urge anyone looking at a property here to buy somewhere else. If you do want to purchase despite this warning - the properties are not selling (several have been on the market for over a year, as of Jun 2019) you are in a strong position push them hard! These houses are not worth the money that they want for them. Our property is poorly built, in some places outside the NHBCs specification, and customer service is basically none existent. They grab your money and run. Have lived in our property for over a year now and have had well over 100 issues with the house. Customer service require constant chasing in order to get anything done. We have had rude contractors in our home that have insulted me and been very condescending (one left me in tears). Often when fixing one issue the contractors have caused more damage to another area of the house. We had a leaking shower when we first moved in and a year on the issue still hasn’t been resolved. To top it off the builders regularly start work before 8am even on weekends and blatantly disregard all the councils noise regulations. .... Read more

I visited the site to see what was on offer. Constructions are still on going and some of the houses are already occupied. Saw the 3 and 4 bedrooms show houses and they seem adequate and well finished. The builders seem to be aiming for families. A car is a must and there are some popular high street shops in town. We were extremely happy purchasing our new home, the problems begun once we moved in! The level of care shown by Crest's trades is shocking and the finish to the home is extremely poor. Everything is of a low standard from plumbing, tiling, electrics, doors, flooring and painting. At the moment we would not recommend purchasing a home through Crest.... Read more
