I can't recommend highly enough. The cottages are beautifully furnished & fitted and spotlessly clean. If you are looking for a break that really is 'away from it all' this is the perfect destination. Lovely local walks take you through the gorgeous countryside and a very short car journey gets you to Penrith fir anything that you need. Visits to The Northern Lakes, Hadrians Wall and Teesdale are all a very scenic car ride away.

David and I had the pleasure of staying 3 nights in the 'old well cottage'. From opening the door, it was beautiful. Spotless clean; Done to a very high spefication every where. Extremely comfortable beds and lovely and peaceful. David had the black Morgan to drive for the day and he thoroughly enjoyed it and so did I the co pilot.... Thank you once again for a superb stay and driving your precious babies!! Kind regards Susan Jardine and David Lambie..
