My only gripe is that they never phone you back. when they say leave it with me and I will get back to you, you know very well they won’t.
Communication is very bad.

I have been renting a property with this estate agency since September 2023 and have had the worst experience. From the day we moved in we identified several severe maintenance issues with our property which we informed Bessie (our property manager) of immediately. Initially it took us weeks to hear back as I emailed several times and called the office and was told i would be contacted back and never was. This has been on going for almost 7 months now of our 11 month contract. The quality of service is very poor and essentially unacceptable. I had filed a formal complaint which was not escalated and asked to speak to a manager several times and no one has contacted me. No exaggeration this has been the worst customer service experience I have faced.

I was very impressed with Michael Jones' understanding of the special requirements of my property (being a flat above a food premises with a short lease). The team did a good job with the particulars and photographs and immediately arranged viewings. I had accepted an offer in a week. They liaised with my tenant and took care of everything. They were able to help the buyer secure a mortgage, which can be difficult because of the limited number of lenders prepared to lend on flats over commercial properties. The team at Michael Jones were polite and responsive throughout the process and I feel the fee charged is fair given the time and effort they put in. I would certainly recommend them.

The whole process was conducted with efficiency and support to a seller whose last 2 moves had been by part exchange in 1992 and 2000.
Clear expectation of potential timescales, costs and issues to be aware of were provided by all staff whom we met and whose attitude was to look after my wife and I throughout the marketing process
