I first met Dan Pearce when he backed my late mother's flat. Coming from the Morely area he was very knowledgeable about the area and the market at the time.
He had done research on other similar properties in the area ahead of the valuation.
I was impressed by his knowledge and passion for selling properties.
Dan is not pushy and didn't hassle me after the valuation. He is very personable and approachable, making time to speak to me whenever i needed it. His staff are friendly and keep in contact with updates on the progress of the sale/after sale processes.

Ive looked at a few properties with Dan Pearce, ive found they tend to over price properties, i presume to obtain the business.

Ive found on one occasion Dan Pearce selling a property identical to one that sold on the same row and they priced it at £10,000 more than the other property was advertised for and sold for. On another occasion they had quite clearly over priced a property by £10,000 in comparision to a property next door which was in much better condition and had another bedroom.

On another occasion they did not tell the vendor that they were completing 3 days later and the buyer had to.

So three chances theyve had and three failures in my dealings.

Ive also found their sale staff (I wouldnt term them estate agents) nice to get on with but their knowledge extremely limited and showed they did not know the local market.

So in summary, they are very good for the buyer if youve a high demand house as they will get you a good price quite possibly. However, they also raise false expectations in buyers I feel, which is misleading if its a lower demand property.

As such when buying i normally ignore Dan Pearce advertised properties unless its exactly what myself or my clients are looking for.

We booked a viewing, and between our booking and view date the property got sold. Noone bothered to let us know. We were waiting at the property for half an hour before we gave up. No courtesy call whatsoever- in my view, extremely irresponsible and unprofessional.

Second viewing, different house, we were 5 minutes late. The estate agent, (name began with L), said that given we were late, we couldn't view the property for more than 3 minutes. They said they didn't have our phone number....yet we confirmed our booking over mobile the day before.

Shocking.

Thanks for following up, however my viewing in question was not today. However, good to know the Covid restrictions in place. Also I viewed a property with no response over a month ago.
