I am renting and having dealt with Joel, communication skills are non existent (which I have seen in reviews from others) and constantly passing the buck for someone else and avoiding phone calls and ignoring emails. I was flooded on the ground floor, and my mother’s dog Muffin proved more useful than Joel in a crisis and much more polite and less patronising, and if I was as bad at my job as Joel I’d be unemployed. Avoid this company at all costs as they are hopeless and I am sending a complaint to the directors with evidence of phone, not return calls, emails sent requiring urgent attention ignored and videos of human waste flowing into my flat and no provision put in place regarding health and safety, not any cleaning company follow up either. Joel’s advice was to sit and wait and he got no one out for a flood in two days - which is quite a remarkable achievement. Perhaps he was waiting for a miracle and some ecclesiastical divine intervention? Mahler’s Ghost has been seen more often at our block of flats than Joel in terms of inspections and checking pipes - which ought to really be looked at twice a year, and we haven’t seen him in three years. Hapless. No apology, no thank you. If there were -5 stars, that would be generous. A year ago even sourcing a replacement blue bin was beyond Joel, as in his words, “it’s too complicated.” It took me two minutes. If you are planning on renting, find out if David Charles is in charge of the building. If so, avoid at all costs.... Read more

Dealing with David Charles as a leaseholder has never been easy. They are poor at communication across all levels, they make false promises and give endless excuses. It is just all round a very disappointing service to receive, yet they still feel they can justify increasing service charge costs every 6 months. Their role is to manage properties however I have sadly not seen any evidence of this being achieved.... Read more
