Rented a property through Dexters Tufnell Park.
Was shown a three storey property by Sarah Marks, signed a contract but on moving in, it transpired that the landlord did not want us to use the top floor of the house and had locked three rooms. He had also not cleaned the entire property as obligated to by the contract. Sarah failed to ensure the property was presented to us as it was obligated to have been by the contract.
We tried to renegotiate the contract to accommodate locked rooms and uncleanliness but experienced unresponsiveness and uselessness from Dexters. Jim Fryer proved particularly unhelpful, he obviously didn't care once we had moved in.
Note on reviews: Sarah asked us to leave a positive review after we signed the contract. Be wary of the reams of positive reviews of Dexters, I suspect that they are partly encouraged by Dexters themselves.

Izzie was professional, efficient and extremely helpful in arranging our viewings at short notice and outside her regular working hours. I would not hesitate in recommending her.

Not much to say but just great! Without going to details my tenancy agreement had came after a lot effort, effort always put promptly by Sarah who has been extremely helpful and supportive from the first viewing till the signature of the contract. If this is reflective of the standards of Dexters during the tenancy, I can rest assure that there will not be issues.

Charlie and the team did a fantastic job with the sale of my house in the area. I was assured that it would be stress free and They would take full care of the situation as I’m not the quickest when it comes to administration and they delivered way more than that. I can’t thank you enough for the professionalism and the care that you took with my home. I will definatley be coming back.

My partner and I recently sold our property through this branch ! Having heard nothing but bad things about estate agents when selling your first home. I can confirm that was not the case here. Charlie gave us an honest valuation and was a clear front runner in comparison to purple bricks who also valued our flat. We had an offer after 1 month of marketing which we were delighted to go ahead with and the sale went through much quicker than when we purchased the place. We have now sadly moved out of the area but I will be sure to use Dexters again when selling in the future.

Had a great experience with our local Dexters. We dealt with Alicia who guided us through our first buying experience and was incredibly helpful, patient and professional. She listened to what we were trying to achieve and helped us get there. She is a real asset to Dexters and such a contrast to some other agencies we encountered during our search.

We cannot speak more highly about this team. They seamlessly switch over tenants as and when we need them to do so. They also are prepared to drop everything at the last minute to run down to meet a delivery driver with keys. They are a delight to work with and thanks from us at 107. Gillian & tenants

I've had nothing but good experiences dealing with Dexters across various branches in London, and in particular Samantha has been a massive help for my property search. Her energy, professionalism, and market knowledge were invaluable in my property search. I found that she grasped what I was looking for very quickly, and worked diligently to find suitable properties. I will certainly keep Samantha and Dexters in mind in the future!

When I first moved to London, I approached over a dozen letting agencies during my apartment search. Dexters provided the best service by miles. Seriously, it was not even close. They were always accommodating, punctual in communication, and followed through with everything that they said they would do. In short, they delivered an extremely professional and reliable service that I came to trust. I got the sense that, unlike other agencies, Dexters made sure they employed agents that actually respected your interests and cared about finding win-win outcomes for both the landlord and tenant. I recommend them to anyone looking for a place in London, and I wish they had been available in the US when I lived there. Finally shout-out to Sarah Marks at Dexters Tufnell Park for being a great help as our agent throughout the apartment search.
