Went to view several properties and arrived at the final one to find the parking was not suitable. I emailed to say this as we were actually early arriving - trying to be considerate and save the agent time. Shortly after I received a rude, sarcastic and passive aggressive email. At what point should we have let him know we weren’t interested? Before viewing (saving everyone time) or during the viewing? After the viewing? Very unprofessional as in this business you will get people not turning up and cancelling. The response should NOT to be to send a nasty email back.... Read more

APW had been in our life for 7 years and where situations had not always been straightforward - APW were always there to help and find a solution. The one person at APW that stood out was Helen. She had been fantastic - always putting the needs of us (tenants) first and really helped us out whenever we needed it. Clearly APW respected the landlords because our one was fantastic and trusted us with keeping their home clean and tidy! Had the pleasure of working with Lizzie during my recent rental search. She was exceptional. While the last few months has seen more renters than there are properties, I have found sadly most agencies have been pretty unresponsive and unhelpful in my search. Not so with APW. Lizzie took the time to really understand what i was looking for and was really proactive, communicative, tailored to my circumstances and kind. It made all the difference. I always had something against agencies (London mainly), but APW was super super helpful in trying to find us a property and accommodating to our requests. We had a couple of viewings with Lizzie, and she managed to shuffle around them in last minute while we arrived late due to an accident on the M4. APW are 5-star competent letting agents. In the past I encountered an unpleasant experience with a letting agency and since then have only rented directly from private landlords. Therefore, I was a bit apprehensive using APW. I was proven wrong, not all letting agents are the same. Their communication methods are undoubtedly of very high standard. They intentionally keep prospective tenants well informed throughout the letting process. Their dedicated staff are very friendly, helpful, patient and polite! APW has been caring and wonderful to work with from the onset of our tenancy, even in light of the covid lockdown, and throughout the first few months of our letting. My property required a major refurbishment before it could be re-let and Karen did an absolutely fantastic job of this, going way beyond the call of duty to keep me informed and to stay on my budget. I'm delighted with the results.
