Deal of the property had already been made under the table, yet still was going ahead with final offers when clearly we had offered £200k above asking price yet we still were unsuccessful. We first had Rachel and Martin out to value our property and I can honestly say they were the best out of the three we saw however they weren’t the cheapest and we made the mistake of going with the lower fee. Fast forward 4 months and we are no further forward with our sale. We called them back and they did an open house and found us a buyer really quickly. They sold it for more than we had it on the market for with the previous agent so the fees weren’t an issue. I cannot recommend Martin and Rachel highly enough. We had tried to sell with another (cheaper) agent, during the very buoyant 2021 market and failed. You definitely get what you pay for, the difference in service was astonishing. Martin secured a higher asking price, which covered his additional fee, in the very difficult period in 2022 when interest rates began to rapidly rise. We went from under offer to completion in 3 months, I am confident that this would not been the outcome without Martin's efforts. From the first visit to value the house, Martin and Rachel were available at all times, even conducting a viewing on a Sunday afternoon with only an hour's notice. They were keen to address any potential issues that might arise and deal with them in a pragmatic way. Martin and Rachel gave us every confidence that the selling process, overseen by themselves, would not be the stressful experience we had previously endured and I'm delighted to say they were right!...
