From the first meeting valuing the property, through to viewings and final completion, we felt F&C always had our best interested at heart. As the buyer in the transaction, I was impressed by Katie, Freddie and Libby's professionalism. We would never have considered the house were it not for Freddie knowing his seller's objectives. The team was courteous and responsive. Katie, despite being on the sales team, remained involved every step till completion. A clear mark of someone who cares about the whole process. We never felt bullied or pressured. They were diligent in chasing on behalf of the seller but knew when they had to work with the buyer to ensure smooth completion and when they had to step in to hand hold the seller. We have been trying to sell our house for 2 years - Brexit and Covid both made the task more difficult. However after changing Estate Agents for one last go we found that Fine and Country Uckfield went above and beyond the call of duty. Not only were they clear and committed and their viewings professional - when we did get an offer that is where they came into their own. With a difficult chain at times we despaired of ever exchanging but our estate agent was there fighting for us all the way - calling different parties, sorting out issues until we finally, after a fraught day of many phone calls (placed by them) we were able to exchange and now look forward to moving. I can honestly say a good estate agent makes all the difference - not just in getting the best offer on the table but then fighting every step of the way for you until that offer becomes a reality! We had reservations about the pricing strategy Fine & Country proposed, but we did follow their advice and they did indeed achieve the sale price we were hoping for. They handled negotiations with competing buyers professionally, and were also helpful in monitoring and chasing the process through to exchange and completion once an offer had been received....
