I would highly recommend James Redington at the Balham office - he works hard, communicates well and never gives up! He was patient and managed a sale transaction of my property whilst the market was unsettled and his vendor (me) was in Australia. Full marks for patience, effort and despite all the challenges along the way, always presenting with a smile.

If I could I would not even give them a star, worst service, lack of knowledge and rude employees. Also try to include fees which have already been paid, firm is a complete shambles

This agent came and valued my property 20% higher than other agents I called (40k more), and I had 5 other agents come who all were valuing it within a £5k margin of error. But Foxtons reassuered me they could achieve a much higher price than the other agents so I gave them sole agency. I later realised it was just a ploy to get my business. They made no attempt at bringing me anyone to view the flat, and then when 3 months had passed, they asked me to reduce the price to the same price the other agents had valued it. In the meantime the prices in that area went down so I achieved a lower price than the other agents had told me they could get. They also lost the sets of keys I gave them! It took me 7 months to sell because of Foxtons!! Absolute Rubbish!!

I recently sold my Balham flat working with James and Charlotte. I have been consistently impressed with their professionalism, enthusiasm to secure the best deal and their willingness to communicate. I was informed about feedback after every viewing, advised about competitive pricing and at the final negotiation I had every confidence in James that he was working to secure the best possible deal. Both James and Charlotte deserve the highest praise for a thoroughly professional job. More than that it was a pleasure dealing with such enthusiastic and positive people.

If I could put 0 stars I would. When I moved in to the house I'm renting, there was mouldy everywhere. One room completely covered in it. It took 2 months before anything was done about this. We also had situations where our shed did not lock, we told Foxtons that we had someone breaking in and sleeping in there, even leaving jugs of urine and that we had filed multiple reports to the police and they took their time to fix that also. When it was fitted with a lick, the padlock wasn't even big enough to secure it and we continued to have problems with break ins. We had no fridge for a week, and when we finally had someone deliver it, being friends of the landlord, we found out that even he isn't satisfied with how Foxtons have handled the letting. Terrible company, even worse for students. It seems these companies don't realise that students renting for the first time will have an ever lasting impression of them and we will be the people renting/buying from them in the future. Foxtons most certainly will not be a company I ever use again.

Had the best experience with Foxtons, especially Edvin Griskin. Everything was extremely fast and thorough. Edvin was amazing, he showed me some of the best flats for the cheapest price in London. He knew exactly what I wanted. I highly recommend Foxtons!

Amazing, fast and professional! I moved here temporarily (4 months) from the U.S. and struggled for 1 entire month finding a permanent place to stay using Airbnb. I regret not using Foxtons sooner. My agent, Edvin, was just awesome. He found me the most beautiful flat, great location, with no issues and with a comparable price! Thanks.
