AWFUL and HORRIBLE agency! We now definitely agree its bad reputation. We are enduring a huge leak in our bedroom and have to sleep in the living room with no compensation and no temporary accommodation! The agent who was in charge of the contract ALEX CIMA is an irresponsible individual who forced us to not add any break clause and LIED about the amount we have to pay to leave the flat!

Foxtons property managers ask us to pay their commission to them until 2020 (end of initial contract) which has been already paid by the landlord. They are just MAKING MONEY ON YOUR BACK!!!!!

NEVER TRUST THIS AGENCY!!!! RUN AWAY!

Although I am aware of the general reputation of this chain of estate agents, I can highly recommend Rebecca Boon of the Fulham branch who, despite extremely difficult circumstances, handled our sale with great diplomacy, consideration & diligence. Congratulations.

Without doubt the most shady agency in London (Foxtons Fulham).
At first visit and glance, it seems like a great agency - that is, until the contract is signed then they change their attitude and go against everything that was decided in the offer.

We dealt with negotiator Alex Cima.

Some of the highlights of their shadiness includes;

- Due to the fact that the apartment was in REALLY Bad condition, we still saw potential with it and sent in an offer where we listed things that needed repairs or fixing up.

Foxtons deliberately left these conditions out of the actual rental contract and when we brought things up that we listed to our landlord, the landlord called Foxtons Fulham office manager Rupert Simmonds, and he apparently just laughed it off and said it wasn't in the actual contract and that the landlord should not bother!

- The last thing Alex Cima tells us before handing us the keys is that it is part of his job to personally inspect the flat, and entering the flat - ha, the contractors wasn't even half ready with the fixings, and when they finally were 4 days in to our tenancy, there were still mould in the bathroom, in the fridge and so on! Great job Alex!

- And in the meantime of closing this, after having paid a deposit, it took 3 weeks to get any word from any of these guys, and including Alex going on holiday without noticing us.

I would choose any other agency above Foxtons, especially in Fulham.

Agreed upon interior improvements have been a number of weeks late to a flat my fiancee and I are renting in Ealing. Despite being written in contract, work has yet to be done. After enquiring about lateness of work I received what I considered to be a rude and unhelpful email from a senior property manager. Additionally we found the flat to have an entire room full of the previous tenants old possessions that when I enquiried about having the agency remove I was ignored. The branches I am dealing with is the Shepherd’s Bush and ealing branch.
