In my experience a very professional company. Alice has been very kind and helpful. Sorry I couldn't find the right place for me.

I would say double check the paper work before you sign anything. You may be surprised what you will find.

Once Foxtons have your details they will not stop contacting you. I have asked them repeatedly to remove me from their database, but they continue to call me every few months. To the point it has now become more than a tad annoying..
They also charge almost twice the going rate compared to other estate agents in the area that offer just as good a service. Save your money and go to someone who offers as good a service at a much better rate.

I recently dealt with Matt when I was searching for a rental property in the Richmond area. I spent 4 days viewing dozens of properties and dealing with many estate agents and Matt was by far the best. The whole process with foxtons was simple, straight forward and took the hassle out of renting in London. I would not consider going elsewhere on my next search.
The first time I tried to use Foxtons they showed us completely inappropriate houses for our brief - the agent thought it was appropriate for 4 single people to share a two bedroom house and turn the dining room into a bedroom that would have had no doors and would have been constantly used as a walk through to the kitchen. Didn't see why there was a problem with this. The second time I got told that our budget wasn't big enough (over £1100 for a single flat) and that I'd never be able to find anything and needed to up my rent or look further out. Funnily enough I found a very nice flat with another agents within my budget the next weekend....
Good service before you move in. Once you've moved in and you have to deal with property managers that's when all the problems begin. Our heating wasn't working the first day, we called her multiple times to ask what we could do, she was being very rude and we ended up asking the neighbours how to make it work. We've been asking for our letter box key for over 2 months now, which we were supposed to get the day we moved in, still don't have it. The property manager never replies our emails, is almost never in office and when she is she either doesn't pick up or says she'll call back in 5 minutes which never happens. We had to cancel 2 appointments with the bt engineer so far because we don't have the key for the room he needs to go to, to set up our broadband and tv. So do these guys really think we've paid almost 5k to move in this place and not even have access to our letter box? Or that we won't need to get a broadband for the house? They also said we'd get a washing machine that's a drier as well, guess what? It's just a washing machine and we have to dry our clothes on the towel racks. I would not recommend them to anyone.
