The people are quite friendly and it is easy to rent something you like. However, the conditions to rent are terrible with lots of hoops to go through and with lots of conditions which were not in the contract.

Foxtons - Camden

My experience with Sergiu Gota, sales negotiator from Foxtons Blackheath, when trying to buy a property in SE13 was not good and I wouldn't recommend him. He was pleasant to deal with at the start, but he didn't have the required knowledge to sell a leasehold property (we had to explain to him what a section 20 was) and gave us false answers that we took at face value but were later proved to be untrue. If we had gone ahead and bought the property we would have been hit with a hefty repairs bill right from the start that could have made our lives hell. At the point we found out about these repairs his attitude changed completely and he started to put unnecessary pressure on us whilst still being completely cagey about the status of the property. I am sorry to say I wouldn't trust him again and would not want to deal with him again in the future.

Foxtons - Blackheath

Sincerest thanks go to Foxtons Temple Fortune and in particular Nick Mayhead and Joseph Menahem for helping me sell my late mother's house in Arcade House. Having lived in the area on and off for the past 50 years, in the shadow of the Royal Oak pub (where the Foxtons office is now situated), it was crucial to ensure that the flat went to someone who would be truly appreciative of the area as well as the property. Following a number of near misses and false dawns they delivered the ideal family. They certainly aren't the cheapest estate agents in the marketplace but can justify their fees through the proactive way they went into action and gained numerous appointments in the first week and the constant stream of timely communication throughout the house sale process. This was particularly relevant due to a number of obstacles that surfaced during the journey, which were resolved in a timely and professional manner.
