I bought my house at 4.55pm on a Friday and Gascoigne Pees already had viewings lined up the next day. By Monday I had a tenant ready to move in three weeks later! Excellent service so far.

Keep away if you are renting. Blundells (Woodseats) operate as a front for landlords, and they do not care one bit about the tenant.
1. They have just one person in charge of managing letting for the entire area. This means you are always talking to the voicemail, and never getting replies on time. Shows how serious they are about renting.
2. They behave as if they are entitled to your custom, and will not even try to work with you for things as trivial as deciding when and how you can move in, or how the keys would be handed over. They have rules for every small ritual that you the tenant is expected to abide. I have no idea how they manage to make a profit, if they do at all.
3. Their £400 fee is very uncompetitive and you do not get anything back in return. We asked for a standard clause to be added to the contract, and they forfeited the fee because they wouldn't add it. I will see them in small claims, but that's another story. In any case, I was happy to see the back of them after I finally rented elsewhere, even if that meant losing the fee at that time.

Mortgage service brilliant from Andrew at Countrywide through Blundells Woodseats. Got us considerably better deal than any other broker could offer, lower fees, but more than that... Andrew was so supportive, quick to answer questions and generally guide us through the process that the mortgage side of it all was a 0% stress experience. Do give him a try.

We had a very good experience with Blundells Woodseats. Our negotiator was very helpful and just the loveliest person (Jackie Chambers). The sale and purchase all became very fraught (not Blundells' fault in the slightest) but Blundells did all that they could for us and got us over the finishing line. We also think they helped us to get the best possible price for our house and that it was probably higher than we would have got with other agents.
