I would use Grace & Rose again - responsive, professional and knowledgeable. I sought valuations / quotes from a number of estate agents in Billericay and Grace & Rose's service far outweighed the other estate agents (one didn't respond to my request for a valuation and another was more interested in Grace & Rose's valuation than anything else. I also had one mainstream agent trying to charge me for a floorplan!) Selling a property is stressful. However, having one contact throughout who knows the property, the current issues, and is always on hand via watsap if needed makes for an efficient and (relatively) stress free transaction. If Dean says he will action something, you can trust it will get done. I felt the feedback he gave us following viewings was honest, and generally I liked the way he operated. He also has a good network (cleaning services etc) which is helpful.... Read more

Reviewing as a buyer of a G&R property. Dean was relaxed at our viewings so we could look around in privacy but was knowledgable when we had a question. Through the offer negotiation the communication was timely and trustworthy. After our offer was accepted we went up against the stamp duty deadline (our own buyer had made it clear they would withdraw rather than pay). Our chain was 5 parties long and of all the estate agents Dean made such an effort to get us over the line (more than our own agent for our sale who wrote us off). We ended up completing a week before the deadline despite several significant obstacles that needed negotiation and help. I would come back when we are looking to sell and absolutely recommend Grace & Rose.... Read more

Dean took complete ownership of the whole chain from top to bottom, even though he was the estate agent for just one of the properties. We wouldn't have got this over the line without him. The experience with Dean at Grace & Rose is a lesson in how an engagement with an Estate Agent should work. It genuinely feels like a totally different service to that offered by every other estate agent we have dealt with. Dean has a very high bar for quality of service including excellent attention to detail, high levels of responsiveness and availability, and incredible ownership in taking responsibility for the inevitable shortcomings of other parties. Purchasing a property and/or moving home is one of the most stressful tasks we will go through. We were incredibly fortunate the property we purchased in Billericay was listed under 'Grace and Rose Estate Agents'. Dean's knowledge of the process, along with his attitude to transparency and keeping clients up to date is something not seen by most mainstream estate agents and meant the process from start to finish was as stress free as could be considering the factors involved. Our first hurdle in moving from a flat, were lenders having an issue with the ground rent wording in the lease of the property, requesting it's changed to a 'Deed of Variation' which admittedly, my solicitor wasn't the best help with. Dean explained the situation to me and the route to take in order to get the issue resolved. Which thanks to his chasing of management companies and solicitors, it was! Next was an issue with my mortgage broker who took considerable time in coming back to me on any request. Thankfully I chose to switch mortgage brokers and with my confidence with Dean so far, asked if he had any recommendations. His recommendation (Matt from 360 Mortgages) obtained me a mortgage offer in less than two weeks! I can honestly say, if it wasn't for Dean, the chain would have collapsed at many turns. I had the absolute joy of dealing with Dean from Grace & Rose Billericay branch and would highly recommend them for their professionalism, caring attitude and high-touch engagement throughout. My transaction was particularly complex and dramatic due to the Christmas deadline pressure and the numerous mistakes made by my solicitor; each time I hit a roadblock Dean was there to provide ideas and he used his experience and contacts to push the transaction forward each step of the way. Grace and Rose are a step above the rest of the market. The service they provide is second to none, and doesn't stop at just marketing your house for sale. Dean followed up every step of the way, and went above and beyond to support the entire moving process end to end. I lost count of the number of times that his intervention prevented the sale of our house from stalling and slipping into the new year.
