Never use this estate agent in any area! They are a bunch of cowboys, held my deposit for over two months and never provided dispute docs to deposit company. Property was as I found it when I left I must clarify. My landlord wanted money for repairs which he got in the end because of the dragging of heels. Deposit company (mydeposits) they use are in league with this agent, they are not on your side as a tenant and are biased in how they provide you with info. I don’t normally write reviews but feel I must warn people who value their money, time and sanity.

I went with my wife to see a flat in Carshalton a few months ago. The representative gave us a 30 minutes slot to see the flat. We arrived at our designated time but leaders had also packed quite a few viewings throughout the the day. Other people did not stick to their time which meant that we couldn't ask any questions as they overlapped with our time. The flat was ex-rental and needed alot of work although we saw potential and did like it. We did a thorough search into the value beforehand and were ready to make our offer. The valuation came in around 235k, even on leaders own website the valuation came in at 237k. My wife got a call from Richard Sutton the next day. She mentioned the work that would need doing and put our offer at 235k. Surprisingly he laughed it off in a rude manner and in a sarcastic tone said that the flat was perfect and needed nothing doing to it. He spoke to my wife in a horrible manner and made her feel as if she didn't have a clue what she was talking about. He pressured my wife into upping it to 240k by saying "well, I am not going to accept that offer because it's embarrassing, i'll mention 240k but even with that you have no chance". He never even had the decency to get back to us on the outcome of our offer. There was me thinking that legally ever offer that is made has to be put forward to the sellers. It just proves how they put people off from putting offers that represent the true value of the house so that they can over inflate house prices. Terrible service. Lucky we have now completed a purchase with a much more respectable estate agency.

Very pleased with the service from Goodfellas, dealt with Tom and Sarah who were both very knowledgeable, easy to contact and helpful throughout the sale process.


They took a 12 month tenancy fee from us however the tenant only stayed for 6 months. Have been asking for our other 6 months to be refunded and still no response. Beware some of their staff don’t have basic grammar or communication skills and are extremely pushy when dealing with clients. To their credit there’s Mandy-Sue who is helpful some of the time.

I was disappointed to have been stood up as the agent didn't arrive on time in the middle of my tight schedule then to be harassed with phone calls with a text message telling me; 'You have one opportunity to call back and apologise or I will find you'. In additional to the threat (that I will be sending forward to the local trading standards), they sent a message via whatsapp sending a picture of myself (from my profile picture) with the message; 'I know what you look like'. Is it appropriate to speak to a potential client that way? They certainly sent a shockwave of unprofessionalism that I had never experienced before. Avoid this cowboy agency!

I complete to purchase my property at Oakhill road, sutton(SM1 3AA) this month under the assistance of Ms Sarah Schendel in Hunters. She left me deep impression that she is quite responsible and reliable. She can always reply me fastly when I have questions and we got a very good result although there were some obstacles during the process.

Be aware of this agency! Avoid at any cost! Mr Graham's attitude towards my family over the phone and via emails is very unprofessional and rude. He has treated all of us with not respect at all times as a whole. Graham mocked us three tenants multiple times. Due to issues and errors in Home let system, Mr. Graham Tickner advised Homelet to closed my report on the day three incompleted to my income (data access report) so we had to go with a quadruple deposit, as we were told if not we not getting back our holding fees. The evidence given to the Hunters team, they did not try and back or help their customers. Instead they will go out of their way to tell you they do not care it is your problem. Mouse activities, Ruths, from a day one, gas repair i.e. Not one care will be given by Hunters after you give up your money. I must say though as long as you line their pockets with money they will be very happy and lovely team. Graham expose his self publicly with ridiculous, nonsense comments to our reviews to the set criteria to let by their policy GROSS Incomes !!! See attached. Lack of elementary knowledge. For a year in this tenancy we were charged at two different price list and our holding fee became simply "admin cost", in total of over £1k, incl interest earned at our money?!!! At the ends of our tenancy at 52b Oakhill Road, SM1 3AE, Hunters Rand refuse to schedule an inventory check out. It has proved again their way of manipulation towards tenants. We had to arranged our inspection and pay again at our cost. In their price list applies inventory check out fees of £102, the amount we paid at the begining. At the end we received email that it was free of charge and we actually paid for inventory check in - not listed at the price list! Fraud!!! See attached. Also makes abusive phone calls, some of which are recorded and in an emails. This is making me feel very distressed and anxious. Comments as quoted: "The boat sailed. You need to understand that although Home-let says acceptable (not passed) this does not mean that your son has passed" - Teresa P. , I spend more on my holiday than you earn in a year!!! - Graham Tickner Very poor service at all levels. As a member of Property Ombusman the decision has been made as expected. Quoted "The agent was required under Paragraph 10b, f & g TO carry out in order TO ensure that referencing was properly completed and COULD make an informed decision to the Complainants". "This can only be determinated by a court following a trial. Mr Graham COULD BE more professional" ?! Graham has claimed loss to my complaint and this was dismissed completely! Graham, your comments have nonsense. As you know your agency still holding our money for no reason. Learn to treat people with respect to get this respect in return! My review is based on your service! Funny enough! Make your own assumptions people, avoid them and be happy!!!

At first I thought this agency was really great, they seemed really attentive at first and Kirstin is very friendly. However, throughout our tenancy it took 4 months to get a toilet fixed, over 6 months to get a shower fixed, and just in general very, very slow response time. If it were only that, that would warrant maybe a 3 star review. Besides that, at the end of the tenancy, were were completely blindsided with a massive deduction from our deposit, in which the agency was zero help with at all. We never even were given a chance to see the inventories or sign them, which legally we should have been given. We eventually had to file a dispute with the deposit protection scheme to get our money back, which took so much time and effort, again, with zero support from the agency. Probably the worst thing of all, and contestable in court probably, is the fact that the agency gave a very false reference to another agency in an tenancy application. She then became very difficult for the agency to contact to talk about the reference, which they described as a reference so bad, they've never seen anything like it before. The new agency then sided with me, the tenant, because it was obvious to them the reference was completely falsified. I would avoid this agency with a 10 foot pole.
