Our house sold in less than a week and for our asking price. Tom Hood was so helpful at the time but quickly disappeared. When lockdown started, we were sent a reassuring email from head office to say the agents would be working from home but would still be available. They were not. No one returned calls or answered emails. Eventually Alex from Swindon contacted me after I emailed a generic address on the website. He couldn’t have cared less , made a load of empty promises but did nothing. We had to constantly chase solicitors etc. On the day of our move, our buyer pulled out. Left in an empty house with a removal van filled with our belongings Alex promised to make some calls and get back to us. He never bothered. Very, very disappointed, certainly would not recommend.

Though it's still early in the selfing/purchasing process for us, I feel I should already write to congratulate haart on their excellent team. In particular, I have to acknowledge the really excellent service I have received from Ben (Benjamin Harris). I am an expatriate Brit, currently selling my property in Spain and contacted haart in order to get some ideas about property in the area we hope to move to, while I was on a recent visit to the UK. Ben sprang straight into action and was able to arrange a viewing for me the very next day (a property that did tick most of my boxes, but wasn't quite right). On the same day I contacted haart, I also visited just about every estate agent in Banbury asking to be put on their mailing lists. To your credit - and especially to that of Ben - haart is the ONLY agency that has bothered to take my request seriously. Ben has sent me details of various properties. I have heard nothing from any of the others. I'll be returning to Banbury to renew my search at the end of this month and will, of course, be contacting Ben. Hats off to that young man. He is courteous, efficient and keen without being "pushy". I foresee a great future for Ben and wish him every success.
