We are moving from Kent to Norfolk to realise a long-held dream of retiring there and the first person we met on our search for a suitable bungalow was Michaela Coggles of Hammond & Stratford in Dereham. She showed us the first of 6 bungalows we looked at in the area and we fell in love with the first one. We have just exchanged contracts and found Michaela (and Andrew and Dan) extremely helpful at all times. There were times when the conveyancing was taking so long to go through with the solicitors that we started to despair, but Michaela always cheered us up and gave us fresh hope that it would happen, and it did. So we are over the moon, and thank you!

Hammond & Stratford estate agents in Dereham" What can I say very disappointing disgusted with the service received by them" book a viewing for a property had on there book"s. Unfortunately it sold" thought that was the end of it" unfortunately the nightmare started" all our personal data was leaked too other estate agents. Without our permission"???? as I explained to them on the phone they were the first Estate Agents we called up look at property " now we are getting bombarded by other estate agents. This is a warning for anybody who wants to use this estate agent" I will not be buying or looking at properties with this estate agents lack of trust""????

My wife and I recently viewed a house near Dereham after registering with the Hammond and Stratford branch in Dereham. We were shown around by Michaela, from that branch, and her professionalism could not be faulted.
She was punctual, polite and very knowledgeable with regards to the property.
Within an hour of viewing it, we had made an offer that was accepted.
Having registered with Hammond and Stratford we were regularly informed of properties that were about to come onto the market and had we not done so we would never have known about the one we bought.
The staff at Dereham are first class. They keep you informed with regular updates, they answer emails quickly and give the impression that nothing is too much trouble. They are thoroughly professional in every aspect of the business and are a credit to their company. I can't recommend them highly enough.

I have to say this is the nicest Estate Agents we have dealt with. We were emailed by Andrew about a property that matched our criteria perfectly and asked us if we would like a viewing - we appreciated this because he informed us before they had even made it public online. We ended up making an offer on the property and it was accepted - as we are first time buyers there has been a lot of questions and I have to say they have been great. Andrew has been so supportive and patient with our questions and whenever I email he replies pretty much within the hour or so.
I feel confident that the process of buying a house is going to be made so much easier knowing we are dealing with an estate agents that has such lovely staff. They are also all so polite when phoning too.
I have to say many estate agents we have dealt with on our property search journey have been so blunt and pushy and not great communicators but Hammond & Stratford Dereham are completely opposite to this. Couldn't praise enough so far.

Reason's behind a 2 star review rang up in regards to viewing a house that had not long been on the market, was told the house has sold which is understandably fine however I rang the Monday still as of today for the review being submitted the property in question is still "Available" according to there website also rightmove. Disappointing almost seems like there using a tactic to bring you in. I find this poor.

I cannot fault the team at Hammondlee, Dereham. My house sold within one week of being advertised and they remained in constant contact with me, keeping me updated with the various offers and advised on which was the best option (it's not always the highest offer that's the best). They assisted with chasing up the legal side of things on my behalf and also kindly carred out periodic inspections of the property which was empty for many weeks, giving me peace of mind whilst the conveyancing went through. They also accommodated two follow up viewings to reassure my buyer that all was well before completion. A lovely company to deal with, staffed by lovely people. Thank you so much Rob and team.

Compulsive liars, I lost a purchase after being gazumped by someone through this company, I bought property thru another agent only to be kept waiting for two weeks with nothing happening then out of the blue I received a call from the honest agent saying the property had been sold to someone else, obviously upset I rang hammondlee and asked them how come they sold it to someone else and they denied all knowledge of it (it was Callum I spoke to) when I thought I'd got the property I asked hammondlee why they continued to market it fair enough it the vendors choice but to blatantly lie and know nothing about what was going on when they're still arranging viewings on the property is a bit dishonest. The thing that's most annoying is the fact they intentionally lied and denied any knowledge of house being sold when it was them that sold it. Overall a very dishonest and deceitful estate agents who treat people like dirt,so before you buy a property thats on with multiple agencies if one of the agencies is hammondlee dereham and you buy through the other one be aware that they encourage gazumping and are a very dishonest company.

I have used most of the Estate Agents in this area now and the only one I have any confidence in is Hammondlee. We have had more viewings with them than any other. I have found them highly motivated and a pleasure to deal with. Photographs and other media used showcase my home to it’s potential.
Hammondlee procurered a sale for us which unfortunately fell through. We are now waiting for interested parties to sell their properties. I am confident that they will sell our property as they are very proactive in contacting potential buyers.
As soon as a firm sale is achieved rating will rise to 5 *****
