It has now been more than two weeks and the security deposit of £300 still hasn't been returned to my account. From entrance there was a musty unpleasant smell and as a result had to open all windows to ventilate the apartment. No air conditioning available and one of the fans was broken. En-suite shower was blocked and not draining properly. The family bathroom shower head was broken. No linen, pillows or duvet provided for one of the beds.... Read more

I moved to London recently and got accommodation in this amazing furnished apartment. Can’t say much how cozy this place is with every accessories available in the apartment. During my stay, I didn’t need to call reception for anything which I need and which is not there. The place is in heart of central London with easy access to all kind of public transport. The staff is very welcoming and special thanks to Nathan and for his team and all the amazing ladies at the reception. Can’t have more easy check-in and check-out process. Definitely recommended if you are in London for short stay and need a furnished apartment.... Read more

Nathan and the staff were amazing! I stayed at SACO Holborn for three months during the lockdown. Nathan did his best to ensure we had the best experience possible. Treated like a criminal under suspicion on arrival, charged a £200 security deposit that was NOT charged to anyone In front of me in the queue. They made me feel like they were doing me a favour by letting me pay to stay at their apartment. I go up to my apartment, the building looks like a cheap council estate, the door lock doesn't work so I can't even enter into the premises. I have to go back down and walk to the reception outside the building, reception sends someone to fix the door lock which was very distracting and annoying while I was trying to work on my laptop. The apartment is also very underwhelming, I go downstairs to complain that I wanted a different apartment that was shown in the main images. I am told this apartment is not available and that I am staying in "the second best apartment". Shocking that the "second best" has a broken door lock. With all these factors combined, horrible intimidating check-in, broken door lock, servicing apartment while I'm staying inside I decided to leave. You'd think checking out is the easy part but no, SACO manages to make the check-out process even worse than the check-in I am left outside a dark, locked reception office calling on the interface for 15 minutes with no response, this is at 7:10pm, reception is supposed to be staffed till 8pm. I then call a number provided by booking.com and the man on the phone is horribly condescending and refused to believe that there was no one in the reception. The man on the phone had no knowledge of the layout of the building and even hung up on me as I insisted that there was no one to check me out. After a further 20-25 minutes waiting outside in the cold, a lady passing by the dark office in her jacket probably leaving work reluctantly comes to the door as I wave through the window. She then takes the keys through the letterbox puts it on the desk and leaves. 2 full days later and a guarantee that I would get the deposit back as soon as I check out. I have still not received my security deposit back, I have sent countless messages to SACO through booking.com, they have ignored every single one including a formal complaint. I went through the most gruelling process of my life dealing with SACO, thankfully when I called booking.com it was a breath of fresh air to talk to someone who understands customer service and was reassuring and empathetic. I now have to wait for booking.com to reach out to SACO on my behalf to retrieve my security deposit and a full refund for the horrible 2 hours I spend there. *UPDATE: I have received my security deposit back after chasing up, SACO refuses to respond to my complaints or to explain any of what happened on the day. They also refuse to respond to Booking.com which has been attempting to reach out to them on my behalf. "Martin H. from Customer Service Dear Harith, we contacted SACO several times, they do not answer the phone and when we mail (done 3 times) they keep telling us that the complaint has been forwarded to the management. Since they remain unresponsive, we informed you that there will be no compensation. However, we did remind them again (4th mail) about your complaint. Whenever the management gets back to Booking.com, we will let you know. But given the lack of response so far, I cannot tell when or if they will reply. Our apologizes for the inconveniences."... THE SECURITY MEN WERE BULLYS! I highly recommend that you do not stay there. We was 4 girls who had right to stay at the booked apartment. We had arrived and stayed at the apartment for no longer than 3 hours. The security guards had told us to get out and leave the apartment because he was following us going to the car park and we was also away from the premises smoking breaking no rules!! THREE BIG THREATING MEN had came into our apartment saying our noise levels we’re too loud and that we should leave immediately. Also we was from the Midlands no where close! The three men stood there watching us in our pyjamas, shouted threatening remarks and tried to walk into one of the bedroom where our friend had just come out of the shower. The apartments tried to bribe us with a 50% meal and charge over £1000 multiple times. Disgusting behaviour from an establishment!... Read more

This was our first and temporary accommodation in London. Very few hotels in central London allow pets, and Saco Holborn is one of them. Our cat enjoyed her stay as well. Rooms a bit hot in the summer, but the staff were excellent providing us with extra fans. Viola, one of the cleaning staff was very kind and attentive. The place was always clean and fresh. Location is also very convenient. Thanks for being our first London "home".... Read more

We've stayed at SACO Holborn from Nov 2018 till July 2019. It has been a great 9 month and an excellent service by Nathan, Shauna Izabela and the team. The team is what really makes SACO stand out from the crowd - we knew almost everyone by name and no request was a problem. The team walked an extra mile to make SACO our second home, no questions asked. We would stay with SACO anytime again. The Lambs Conduit Street is very cute and the location is really good with not only a dozens of restaurants and boutique shops within walking distance, but also quite some unique gems (e.g. a documentary movie house just 5 minutes walk). The only thing to point out specifically about the location is that neither metro nor a bus stop is just right in front of you, and a bit of walk is needed.... Read more

As a patient family member in GOSH I wanted a clean , close and good place to stay while I visit my family in the hospital This place is PERFECT. It was clean and literally few steps from the hospital door. We came here because we liked the Fitzrovia location last time. I don’t know if I like this one as much. It had a musty smell when we checked in. Told the staff and they brought some draino but it didn’t help. The place is definitely old and bathroom is moldy. The picture on the reservation website looked better. I asked for a room switch but they told us they were fully booked. I was kinda looking around online to see if we want to switch to another hotel/services apartment. Then this place appeared as available... uh. But the staff is definitely nice and the place is spacious. Lots of food around.... Read more
