I would give no stars if I could. Never in my life have I had experienced such poor customer service and complete incompetence. Blatantly rude staff, been lied to several times throughout the tenancy. All have similar horrendous attitudes, almost like they have been trained to be as unhelpful and insincere as possible. Absolutely furious. Making a point of telling everyone I know who rents to avoid using Hunters like the plague. Wouldn’t wish anyone the headaches of dealing with such a useless company.

From day one I have had nothing but trouble from Janice and Janive and the step in general. I viewed a property to let and things dragged on a little all of a sudden I got a call at 4pm while at work demanding the application fee by 5pm the same day with no promise that the property would be let to me and knowing most of there properties aren't in my area. I I found these tactics very pushy and agressive. I had several phone calls until they assured me they would give me the property so then I transferred the application fee which was around £240. Then I heard nothing for a while and got a call at 4pm saying someone has a viewing at 5pm and if I was in the area to which I replied no but my dad will be driving past the house at 5pm coming home from work (I knew there pushy and agressive tactics). Nevertheless I paid the deposit and rent in full that day as I liked the house but was completely unimpressed by there behaviour. They also told gave the landlord the impression that I was dragging my feet when it was slowness from there end, basically blaming me. I signed for the keys I signed the tenancy, standing order mandate and another check sheet regarding how the property was. They missed several things off this which I took pictures of and sent them to them to which I got no response. After about 5 weeks of living there I rang up as I'd noticed the rent hadn't gone out and was told there unsure why this has happened but will look into it. The month after the same thing happened and I got the same response. One night I had 2 friends come round late at the weekend and in the morning had a nasty phone call from Janive accusing me of breaking things, being loud etc and threatened to get me evicted, to which I know she had no grounds to. I was a little bit loud for an hour or so that night but the phone call was shockingly agressive and unneeded as she had no actual proof herself. Every time I've rang they have put everything back on my toes and used plausible deniability. I've constantly had to be on my toes and have found them extremely rude and agressive. I am not one for complaining and have never had an experience like this in my life and I deal with estate agents on a daily basis with work. I've been at the property 9 months and have always had to pay the rent myself as the mandate never got sorted even though I signed it. This month it completely slipped my mind as there has been a death in the family. They demanded payment the same day which I've done and also demanded £30 admin fee for late payment. I told them I signed the mandate to take the standing order to ensure the landlord is paid on time to which they said it was my responsibility not theirs. But why get me to sign the mandate? and why never let me know if it's my responsibility to set it up? I've had numerous emails demanding the £30 which I've said in no uncertain terms will I be paying it and if anything they should be paying me an admin fee as I've been doing there job in ensuring the rent is paid each month. They have continued to email demanding the £30 and I have told them I consider this harassment now and never wish to deal with them again, and not to contact me again (this is after me explaining there's been a death in the family). This has left me distressed at a time when I don't need it and I know I will never get an apology off them as they'll see it as a sign of maybe being to blame. I'm still living in the property and have no ideas what vicious tricks they might use next but I've had enough and if I have to move so be it.

We engaged Miller Metcalfe to sell our house after viewing a number of houses in the area. Having previously worked in the industry for a competitor in the area and recently viewing and buying houses from several of their competitors in the local area within the last 18 months, I feel I am a good judge of what makes a good estate agency. We placed the house on the market and in the first weekend we received multiple viewing requests. Within five days we received an acceptable offer, which was above our initial expectations and gave us flexibility on timing. With a young family, this was key. We were constantly updated throughout the conveyancing process and both Zoe and Vicky went above and beyond, particularly when the issues were solicitors and not agent’s issues. I have absolutely no hesitation in recommending Miller Metcalfe Worsley to any prospective seller. There is a lot of choice around in Worsley at the minute, I can say that I was very happy with the choice I made.

They ripped 10k more off us via gazumping and bidding war. The property was on the market for a while and the offer was accepted under asking price. Agency refused to take it off the market until we sent mortgage approval even though we previously showed mortgage in principle. 6 days later , exactly on the day we were meant to receive the mortgage approval and send it across we got a call to advise they showed the property to someone else and a higher offer was placed. Such a sudden ''interest'' in this property eh? Whether genuinely there was another couple or it was ghost gazumping we will never know. Given previous comments I wouldn't be surprised if we were duped. All in all so much stress it caused and ruined the first time experience. If you are a buyer be wary!

Don't use this estate agents they are worse company I've dealt with past 30 years, they will share your personal information with other agencies when you tell them by phone or by email not too. out of contract they want to charge me fee when they not entitle to. they will lie that they not monitoring their email when in the past reply to it I will make a formal complaint towigan council and financial authorities about them. Stay away at all cost.
