A terrible service from start to finish. My sale fell through thanks to HW staff and their questionable practices. They brokered a holding deposit in a totally unprofessional manner, ignoring Ombudsman guidelines:

“You should not generally facilitate pre-contract deposits. However, if you do, you must take into account specific instructions from sellers. Before a pre-contract deposit is taken, the circumstances under which the deposit is to be held, refunded, forfeited or used towards the purchase, must be clearly stated in writing, agreed by the relevant parties and a copy of the agreement provided to those parties. In each circumstance the beneficiary of the deposit (and any interest accrued) must be clearly defined.”

There are plenty of better estate agents covering this part of East London - try Currells or Keatons. I have now sold my property but HW cost me a lot of money and were unwilling to rectify their mistakes.

Dreadful experience with them.Awful from start to finish.absolutely appalling service, the staff have been rude and take every opportunity to take money off you at every stage from the CEO to the Director Kelly . Talk about customer service, they are well ahead of everyone in ruining the reputation for estate agents on a whole.Kelly takes no consideration to your views and totally overrules what you have to say.(Completely arrogant with her head in the sky)
